Busses from BCV

We are going to WDW from Sept. 29 - Oct 5 and are staying at the BCV for the first time. We will be with DD who will be two at the time. I know you can walk to Epcot and take a boat to MGM, but in all of our trips We have never used the bus. Does anyone know how often they run from BCV to MK and AK? We will have a car so I am not concerned about getting to DTD or other resorts. Is taking the bus really better than driving? Any travel advice from BCV to any of the parks will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You can also boat to Epcot. I am sure you know that, but wanted to be sure and throw that in. We walked, and it wasn't bad at all. But we rode the boat back and then on to MGM, and I can see how that is a nice alternative. Epcot seems to go on for miles, so saving a little walking time isn't a bad deal

If you are going to have a car anyway, I would probably use that for AK as well since the parking lot is very close. For the MK, my opinion is to use the bus system. We have been to the BCV about 6 times now and the buses to the MK are really pretty consistant at every 20 minutes or less and of course you get dropped off right at the front of MK. If you drive your car you have to park at the TTC and then monorail or boat over to the MK.
