i thought that pop century had their own buses and we didn't have to stop at any other resort. is this true thank you for any replies.

Hi maggie ~ I answered this in the other thread but just wanted to say it here in case you didn't see it. Pop does have their own buses. They don't share them with other resorts. Unfortunately, the Pop Century bus stop always seems to be the furthest away from the parks. I went in February and used the buses for the first time and found them to be pretty efficient. The longest wait we had was one night after EMH that was about 20-25 minutes.

We just got back last week from POP and the longest we had to wait for a bus was maybe 15 minutes. Was very impressed with the resort and bus system.

Yes, it is true.

To get to MGM and Epcot, the bus ride is quick. But be aware that the MK ride is a bit long.

Still, it's nice to stay at a resort that has it own bus system. :)

Another :cheer2: for Pops Busses. Yes the bus stop is always the furthest one but it's not awful and their busses are fast fast fast! Longest we ever waited was 15 minutes tops usually under 5 minutes.

I am surprised that everyone is responding that they only waited a short time. One night at MK the line for Pop was horrendous. Everyone was getting angry and they would finally bring two buses to try and get the line down as soon as the two buses left, the line was long again and there was a need for another two buses. We stopped using the buses after this.

We went for 10 days mid-june and it was crowded. we were at All STar Movies... I was SOOOOOO wishing we'd stayed at Pop Century the entire time. I kept looking over with envy at the FEW people (and sometimes none at all) waiting for a bus. I never saw them have to wait long and never saw a long line for Pop- even when our bus line was sooooooooo long it was ridiculous and made you want to cry it was so long. :(

I wish we could get Pop for our upcoming trip- I'm still trying/hoping to get in there! :guilty:

I do not care if it's a longer bus ride. I'd rather be sitting on a non-crowded bus (from what we witnessed on our trip even though it was busy summer at the time) for a longer ride than.... waiting in huge lines standing up forever for an All stars bus, then standing like sardines packed in for a shorter bus ride.

We had a similar experience at MK one night, we waited 10 minutes for a bus, the corral was full and more people were waiting beyond that. At that time 2 busses pulled up, filled up and crammed themselves full of people. We chose to wait for the next bus since my daughter doesn't do well standing in crowded busses. 15 minutes after that 2 more busses pulled in and we were loaded and had seats. When the second pair of busses pulled in there were still people waiting but they had just barely walked up and I'm sure their wait was no more than 15 minutes too. I think if you go into it knowing that peak morning and evening times are going to be busy and crowded then you can expect a bit more of a wait. It is a slight inconvenience but overall the service is wonderful. To each their own, but we love the busses.
