Busdriver Attacked By Guest

maybe its more a case of you're band and IF we ever catch you on our property we'll have you arrested for trespassing

chances that he'll do something else again to get security involved are pretty high.

if he got that violent for something so stupid that he didn't get a seat for his kid or maybe had to wait 3 minutes for the next bus imagine what he'd do if someone dare cut the line or step on his foot.

I hope Pete and them bring this up on the podcast. I can't wait to hear what they have to say about this.

Or to his waist...

OMG!!! There was garbage everywhere when that bomb blew up!!!

Sorry... The visual was just too good not to share... :lmao:

:rotfl2::lmao:

It seems to be a prerequisite for those parties to be bigots, and dumber than a suicide bomber.

they look to be foriegn by the way the wife was dressed. the ladies do not disrespect their husbands ever. where they are from that is a very punishable crime. so i dont know what is sadder in this situation. if i would have been there and seen him throw a baby at the bus he wouldnt of had a chance to get to the bus driver i would have put that guy out of his misery.
I understand what you're seeing, but you're making a pretty big assumption. I'd be careful.

I'm guessing this thread is going to be locked pretty soon, since someone is playing the persecuted race card.

Don't know about the baby, don't care, really.
Disney bus drivers, like most Disney employees, deal with that kind of behavior on a daily basis. If that bus driver had suddenly snapped, considering he's about twice the size as the other guy, he could easily have punched the daylights out of him in a nice Ronnie fashion :)

Strangers on the bus are screaming for security, but the wife whose husband is supposedly being attacked just stands there holding her stuff and doesn't say a word.

I just had to say.....If people think that some comments here are racist, they should read the comments under the youtube video.... WOW!!!! now, THOSE are racist comments! :scared1:

Seems like every Islamaphobe with access to da interwebz is leaving their filth in the comments. Pathetic...

I don't care what ethnicity, race, or religion he is, attacking the bus driver is WRONG and he should be punished accordingly. No excuse for that behavior...

LAKE BUENA VISTA --
Walt Disney World is called the “Happiest Place On Earth” for all the exciting attractions it has to offer.

But the one thing some people may forget to pack is their patience.

That appeared to be evident in a shocking video released Thursday, showing a passenger attacking a bus driver just outside Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

The video, captured by another passenger waiting in line for the bus, is an example of the types of stressful situations people could find themselves in after a long, hot day at Orlando’s theme parks, which are often filled with waiting in long lines.

It remains unclear what led to the scuffle, which gained instant popularity with almost 20,000 views around the Internet overnight.

The video poster said they turned the camera on after the man threw his baby at the driver when he was upset he wasn't allowed to board the full bus and get special treatment because of his infant. The man's wife then retrieved the child and moved out of the way.

Department of Children and Families representatives said it's not uncommon for them to get calls to tourist destinations about parents.

"You are going to a new place, different things about the culture, you don't know the area,” said Ingrid Figueroa, a mental health director. “All these things create stress for children and parents. If you have some control over it, it will be better."

Figueroa said the key is planning. She said guests need to make sure they get out of the heat, get some water and reduce stress levels.

"You just realize there's only so many hours in a day. You try to do what you can handle and what your kids can handle," Figueroa said.
Outside authorities were never called, so it doesn't look like the passenger will face any charges.

The driver is on paid administrative leave while officials continue their review.

So the above in bold is an excuse of why the culprit assaulted the busdriver? Because of heat, and water? She can't be serious!

As far as Disney putting the driver on paid leave, maybe they are just doing that to give him some time off? Maybe I'm being overly optimistic and naive but he has to be really shaken up and since people can zoom in and see his nametag and face well, maybe they want to keep him out of the unwanted spotlight for a little while.
At least I hope that's why they did it.

I had a run in with a man from a different country in September. We were waiting for the monorail and this family showed up in line about 15 minutes after us.. When the monorail got there, the man proceeded to push his son past everyone in front saying "babies first" . Well, he tried anyway- just put my arms out to the side to block them. He told me " in my country, it's babies first" . I replied, " in this country, it's first come first served". We made room for the kid, but the guy had to stand. The wife apologized for him. Incidentally, they ended up taking a knife away from the guy in the bag check line, so he got even angrier. I think sometimes cultural differences cause problems ..the guy in my scenario was ticked that I was arguing with him- how dare a woman talk back to him.

That was what I was originally thinking too, that they were being kind and giving him a break. We can be optomistic together. I hope we are right!

:sad2: That's for sure!!!

and I agree.....no human deserves to be attacked, there is no excuse for acting like a complete fool and bully!

Did you hear him say because he has a baby he's supposed to get priority boarding? This ain't the airlines buddy. Perhaps he thinks the baby is his fast pass. What a jerk!

This man was dead wrong in what he has done. I hope that the driver is not too shaken up by what has happened to him. I would like to make one comment.. this man who attacked the driver stated that he had a baby and that made him a priority.. isn't this reminding some about the thread where Disney is for "children" and how they have the right to worm their way in front of an adult (an adult who has waited an hour for their prime seat) to watch the parade :confused3 All here seem to be in agreement, that having a baby doesn't make your family a priority for the bus.. but yet, some on that other thread seemed to think that having a child makes your family priority over a family who doesn't when it comes to the actual theme park.. I see some double standards here.. When waiting in line, be it for a bus, a ride or even a parade.. it is first come first served.. not I have an infant so I get on first.. or I have a child so they can go in front of you to see the parade.. I wonder if this man who attacked the driver is a poster here .. and posted on that thread in agreement on how Disney really is about children....

I hope this driver turns the tables on this unruly guest and pursue's formal charges against his attacker. If there are really security camera's that have captured this attack, I know this driver will come out clean... and the attacker will get just what he deserves...:goodvibes
