bus route Saratoga

We have reservation for Saratoga starting on June 17. We have not been during the summer and understand it will be crowded. We want to stay near the pool but we don't want to be the last bus stop. Does anyone know the bus route through the resort and is the pick-up and drop off order the opposite of each other. will we have a problem get a seat on the bus?

The Treehouse Villas open on June 1st, so there's some chance things will change at that time. There have been conflicting reports as to whether the two THV bus stops will be added to the existing route, or if there will be a shuttle route to get THV guests to the Springs stop.

Currently, the bus stop order is Grandstand, Carrousel, Paddock, Congress Park, Springs for buses from/to theme parks.

The Downtown Disney bus follows the reverse order.

In my opinion, you can't go wrong with staying near the Grandstand bus stop. When returning from the parks, you are the first ones off the bus. When heading to the parks, you get first dibs on seats (which can be an issue during crowded season as a full bus will NOT stop at the Springs bus stop). And the best part is that if you just miss the bus at Grandstand, it is a short walk to Springs.

Disclaimer: We have only stayed at SSR once, and we just so happen to have had a room near the Grandstand bus stop.

thanks for the reply. How long of a walk from The Grandstand to the main pool. we plan on spending alot of time just hanging out by the pool.

Here's a link to a map of SSR. Grandstand has its own pool, which we enjoyed and used more often than going to the High Rock Springs (main) pool. It's about a 10 minute walk from the Grandstand to the High Rock Springs pool. Of course, Grandstand itself is big. It's a bit longer to walk from the 9501-9836 building. (On a side note, the new Treehouse Villas are in the area to the left and above this building - shown as trees on the current map.)
