Burger at Beaches and Cream: REALLY worth the trip?

Personally, I LOVED the burgers. My family didn't care for them and was more drawn to the ice cream, but when we go this fall, I told my DH, it's a MUST DO,at least one day! Not inconvinent at ALL!! I'd personally go out of my way for it!!

I don't feel that the burgers are anything to go out of the way for, but if you do, please order a "No Way Jose" sundae. They're a meal in themselves. Enjoy!

Please tell me more about this sundae! Maybe we won't go out of our way for a burger, but with two people mentioning the sundae--I must know more! We're staying at the BW, maybe we'll go over there since it's not too far.

they have good burgers but not great burgers. You are paying for the atmosphere more than the food. The fries also seem to have changed over the years. I though they were more like steak fries and this time they were just regular showstring fries. We still go every time we visit WDW but I think instead of lunch we will just go fo the ice cream. Now that is GREAT! but after eating a burger and fries or anything else we don't have much room for the ice cream.

As for the wait - it is insane. We arrived at 2:09 PM on a Monday. They quoted us 30 minute wait. That was fine with us. Well it was more like 60 minutes by the time our name was called. ....... but by the time we left the place there were open tables so maybe coming at 4PM is better than 2 PM!?

I'm not the person to ask since I didn't think anything there was good - and didn't have the roast beef sandwich. But my understanding is that the roast beef sandwiches are now "steakums." This change was made probably two years ago or more, so if you've been there recently and enjoyed the sandwich, you probably will again.

sadly, the burgers aren't what they used to be ...we've been eating there for years and the last several years have been disappointing...we do not plan to eat there in november

crisi, thanks for answering we have'nt been to b&c in nearly 2 years and it definetly was'nt steak umms than but now that I know that I won't be going out of my way to eat there. If I was staying at the bcv I would go for quick bite but not worth the trip for a steak umm. boy those sandwiches were good! Linda

On a good note after this thread maybe the wait for a table and long lines will go down. And as far a the ice cream goes it is very good but so is the ice cream at Ghiradellis in downtown disney! Yum Yum! Linda
