Love, love, loved Firefly. We missed it during the first run, but were hooked when we saw the DVDs. I wish the movie had done better at the box office so we would at least have a shot at more of them.
I've seen the other two pictures, but the one of Spike and Giles is new to me. It reminds me of the time Spike was chained up in Giles' bathroom and drinking his blood out of the "Kiss the Librarian" mug. I loved that scene! The whole plot thread of Spike living with Giles was great. Ahh, back in the day, when Spike wasn't doing unspeakable things to our favorite Slayer and Dawn was a time of day, not a character. Oh, who here hated Kennedy? (raises hand)
I loved Doyle's character. There was a scene in Season 5 that I loved. When Buffy says to Giles, "How bored were you last year?" and Giles responds, "I watched Passions with Spike!"

I thought that the Passions stuff was hilarious as well!
There was one time when Spike was chained up in the bathroom and he was all upset because he was going to miss Passions and Timmy was stuck down a well.
At least I think it was something like that. Don't know the exact quote. It was incredibly funny every time they mentioned Passions though.![]()

Giles: I was 10, when my father told me I was destined to be a Watcher. He was one, and his mother before him. I was to be next.
Buffy: Were you thrilled beyond all measure?
Giles: No. I had very definite plans about my future. I was to be a fighter pilot. Or, a grocer.
Cordelia: All this fuss over a stupid book? Why don't you people get your priorities straight? Hel-lo! Cheerleading competition this week!
Cordelia: Darla. It's all about Darla. One thing you can say about Angel, at least he's consistent it's always some little blonde driving him over the edge.
Angel: Oh, yeah. I saw their production of Giselle in 1890. Cried like a baby. And I was evil!
Dr. Simon Tam: No... this must be what going mad feels like.
Mal: I don't like fellows that kill me. Not in general.
Mal: It looks like we arrived just in the nick of time. What does that make us?
Zoë Washburne: Big damn heroes, sir.
Mal: Ain't we just.

Remember "I like money better than people. People can so rarely be exchanged for goods and/or services!" You'd be surprised how easy it is to work that line into conversation. Bonus question: Does anybody know who said that line?

my people!!! I just love, love, love all three of these shows. But if I had to chose I'd say that I liked Angel a little bit better then Buffy. I just really liked the darker tone in it. I even liked Conner. Not all of the episodes, mind you. But I didn't hate him. I thought his character had so much potential that was never really explored. And I loved how they brought him back in the last season. But my favorite character? Hands down..... Lorne. I think it did get a few Emmy nominations (Hush was nominated, and I think the makeup crew got a nod too) but no wins.
I was really happy for him. I honestly believe a large part of that show's (And Angel's) success was the make-up. They always did an amazing job creating these characters. He's working on Criminal Minds now. Now, where can I find all 3 series on DVD, cheap? I really miss these shows.
Alright, behold the dorkiness....
