Bri is still ok, she and her dad are on their way to her college for some tests this morning. She was supposed to drive herself, but her Dad got to take her.

Morning Laurie! It was quite chilly this morning in our house too! We didn't even need the A/C though since it was only 54 out this morning

I got woken up this morning at 6am by my mom yelling, "Maggie help me! I can't stop the bleeding!"

I went flying out of bed , trip over the afgan that suuuum-one threw on the floor , almost crash through the door, open the door, go flying in the direction of her voice to see her in quite a mess. Now as I'm typing this I can giggle a little, but at the time, when I was half asleep and half in panic mode it seemed kinda surreal. Anyway, her cat scratched her leg, and because she's elderly and her skin is so thin, he must have gotten a little vein and it was a mess, but completely stopped. I feel so bad because she really thought she was gonna bleed to death or something and it looked like she had been cut open big time, but there's barely a pin hole where he scratched her (he went to jump on her lap and missed ). LOL, awww, she is such a sweetie. I felt so bad that she was scared, because it was scary looking, but she was fine and is fine.

Not a good way to wake up!

So -- I've been WIDE awake for some time now. LOL!

Good morning!

Wish it was a tad bit cooler here - been pretty warm and humid. Ok, warm is being a bit nice - H-O-T!!!

My relatives in Indiana called me yesterday bragging on how nice it was. Well, after the rain we have had, I am actually happy for a little sun, so I guess the heat can stay for now...
