Brooklynn takes Bella to meet Cinderella! Page 242 Downtown Disney

Now that is a shopping pic! Yummy!!

Food always works with men! :)

You'll be seeing those candy bars and many other delicious Disney goodies in mere hours! :cool1:

Are your friends so excited, or do they really not even comprehend what is in store for them???

As MeMom has eluded Bella reached a milestone today. Her first tooth has broken through! The child has had both hands in her mouth gnawing for the past month.

Yep, she's chewed on her hands and anything that dared to get near her mouth. She's been like a shark!

A very cute shark, though. :lovestruc

Tell Bella good work on cutting that first tooth!:thumbsup2

She had sure worked diligently at it for weeks!

Awww! She doesn't seem old enough to have teeth yet Jill! Hopefully you survived the cutting of the teeth. ;)

That's just what I said! Brooklynn cut teeth early, too.

Oh wow!! I can not wait to hit that WOD store this December!!! I could go crazy in there!!!!! I love those figurines! I really need to start a collection of them!

Aww, congrats on Bella's little toothy coming in!!! :goodvibes

You could spend a lot of money on Jim Shore figures alone, and you could do serious damage to your financial health in World of Disney! It helped that I was broke, so I couldn't/didn't buy much. :)

Jill needs to see if she get the camera close enough to get a picture of the little tooth for us.

Do you have a nifty 50 in your area? You can get some really good deals on the Jim Shore pieces there! Also check ebay!

You are an ebay guru, wigd!

Did you find Cowboy Mickey yet? I will say he's pretty darn cute up there on my bulletin board.

i do believe this will be my next jim shore purchase. i don't think i've seen that one before and belle is my favorite princess. now i just need an alice one!

congrats, bella! hopefully the cutting part isn't too painful for her. they're growing so fast!!!

moparop - thinking of you tonight!!!! i hope you have a little one in your arms by now. :goodvibes

You definitely need an Alice one! Brooklynn got to ride the Teacups at the same time as Alice on this trip. Alice was riding with another little girl, but Brooklynn was about two teacups away from her, and then she got pictures and an autograph after the ride.

Aw, MeMom, sometimes I'm so dense. I just read back several pages and discovered that your leg has been giving you lots of trouble. I guess you came home safe but not too sound. I pray that the doctor can get to the bottom of your pain quickly and that it's easily treatable.

Yeah, I have resigned myself to the fact that I am going to have to do something. I have been taking double doses of triple strength Osteo-BiFlex hoping that would help. It does a little, but it's still far from right. I'll make an appointment next week, as bad as I hate to. I despise going to doctors.

Hurray for Bella! Hope teething goes smoothly for you (and for everyone else!) :)

Bella's a good sport. She's really a good baby and doesn't cry much except for when she's in real pain. Her little stomach gives her trouble, too, with her acid reflux, and she's way more tolerant of it than any grown-up would be.

Gosh, I miss holding that sweet little girl every day!!! :sad1:

I am hoping that this morning moparop is cuddling up with her new daughter! Now she has three little blessings to be a Mommy to! :dance3: Can't wait to hear from her and see that little girl! :lovestruc

So, There is a possibility that you will be going in Oct.? Well, my family is going in Oct!:yay:We are going to meet up with Eeyore's Tiara's family. We are all staying at Coronado Springs. My dates are 10/24 - 11/1. It would be so awesome to finally meet you all. :goodvibes Did you know there is a free dining deal going on during Oct? :thumbsup2I am not 100% sure of the dates.
Hope you all have a great weekend and get rested up for next week. The first 2 weeks of school are so tiring (for everyone)!

Darlene

Yes, we already have a room booked at All-Star Music, but we don't know if Jill will be able to get off. If she does, it'll be M-T-W added to the weekend or W-Th-F added to the weekend, most likely. We have cousins who are going from Saturday to Thursday. I'll let you know as soon as the dates are finalized, which hopefully will be very soon, since we have to get our flights. We'd love to meet you, too, of course! I saw a Halloween Minnie plush toy at the Disney Store the other day, and it made me ready to go for October!

Right now, we have a room only discount, since we have annual passes. Does each member have to have a one day ticket to get the free dining? Brooklynn has to pay this time, since she'll be three, and I will be going on a shoestring budget, since I have to have enough money for our Christmas trip. I'll probably be feasting on Pop-Tarts for breakfast and PBJ's for at least one meal and just buying one meal and maybe a snack during the day. After we get our dates confirmed, Jill can check into all the best discounts and details.

The first few weeks of school are tiring, but with having taught summer school for four weeks, then doing camp, and then going to Disney World, I really haven't slowed down enough that it's going to make much difference!

Here are a few Wilderness Lodge pictures for Dawn and others who will be going that way either soon or sometime in the next year or so. I couldn't wait way on until the end of the trip to at least show you some of them. We loved this place!

These are in no particular order, because I just took a few from several batches that I took.

Brooklynn starts the trip by rubbing Humphrey's nose for good luck.

If Rafael is your server, tell him Brooklynn says hello. He's from Brooklyn, so he took a liking to her. He might remember her.

I'd love to be sitting out there eating breakfast right now!

Hope you guys enjoyed a visit to Wilderness Lodge this morning. Have a great Saturday!

thanks so much for posting the pictures early!!! i'm forwarding them to ray right now. i LOVED the morning ones.....SO PRETTY! i'm hoping by the time we go to disney in december 2010 i will be an early riser because of having a new baby. that way i can get out of bed early to take some of these gorgeous sunrise pictures i've seen on the DIS. this one is one of my favorites. it's my wallpaper right now.....

IMG_4969-1.jpg

i would credit the person who took it but i can't remember who it was! i got it off the picture of the day thread about a year ago and i got their permission. whoever that person is, he/she is a rockstar photographer!

speaking of cameras, ray and i were just commenting on how he's going to have to TEAR me away from everything at disney next trip because of this new camera we have! we both agree that we will probably just hit a few favorites in each park instead of trying to do everything and spend the rest of the time just relaxing with me having my right eye glued to the viewfinder behind the camera! :rotfl:

I wondered if you could see BLT from the Wl...now I know.

MeMom I wish I had breakfast there everyday too! I can imagine Brooklynn running around that place, my girls loved it there.

Dawn... it will be so much fun to stay there after your hiatis ends.

Thanks MeMom, that was a fantastic way to start a Saturday morning! So peaceful and serene.....ahhhhhh!

MeMom, I did find that Mickey dressed as Woody, he's about 8 inches tall and is going to cost me about $25 with shipping. Isn't that a bit steep? I may have to wait about 138 days to get him while I'm down there...

Aw..Bella's got her first tooth! Poor girl. They always look so miserable trying to chew on anything in sight!

MeMom, thanks for the WL pics. We really do miss staying there, which is why we always have to go over there and say "hi" during our trip.

Dawn, that pic is gorgeous! You found a good one! :thumbsup2

I am so happy to hear you all loved the WL! The morning pictures you took are BEAUTIFUL. :cloud9:

And your DTD pictures make me want to be at the WoD RIGHT NOW buying all sorts of goodies!

Today is the day! My blood pressure has been inching up even on meds, so my OB has decided the baby will be arriving this afternoon. Hopefully, an inspirational princess: name hits us soon!

ETA: If you have a minute, please say a prayer for healthy lungs!

moparop - I'm late in reading your news, but it never hurts to pray, so I am! CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I look forward to seeing her pictures!

As MeMom has eluded Bella reached a milestone today. Her first tooth has broken through! The child has had both hands in her mouth gnawing for the past month.

You made it through the first tooth-YAY! :yay: I cannot believe she is already old enough for teeth though, how time flies!

Wigd-want me to pick one up and mail it to you from when I go in September? I can't imagine the are $25 in the store-Henry's little plushies, also about 8 inches tall, were I believe $14 at WDW and shipping would only be a few bucks I'm sure. Let me know if you want me to get one for ya! :goodvibes

Hi Jill and MeMom,
Glad you had a great trip! I'm subscribing and going back to caught up to date. Jill I can't believe how much Brooklyn has grown, she is just too cute. Bella is just beautiful as well. Glad you loved WL, we love that resort as well.

Ahhhh those pictures are a little slice of heaven in the middle of my Saturday...:cloud9: Thanks MeMom!

So glad you've gotten started. Love the pictures!

This morning was my 90 day mark for our ADR's. I was up at 5:30 :scared1:. I know, you think that's late, right! I'm so glad it's done though. That is always so stressful! No Fantasmic dining package to be had though:sad1::sad1::sad1:. Did you guys see it this time? If so, how crazy was it to get in?

Hope your leg is better. It stinks to have problems on vacation. I got sick this past spring on our trip to beach and had to stay in the room the whole time!!! So I feel for you. It is bad when you just want to go like a mad woman and you can't!

Can't wait to hear more about your trip!! WL looks wonderful! Maybe one day if we can ever afford anything more than value resorts. But I am VERY thankful for those value resorts at this point in life! But the ceiling fan would be really nice:thumbsup2

I loved the virtual trip to WL! Great pictures! I especially love the early morning ones. Those are worth waking up early for!

I cannot wait to someday see Humphrey the bear, the magic fountain (between those two I should be all set with my wishes!;)), that gorgeous lobby, the pool, the beach, and to get my own piece of "serenity now." :)

Congratulations on Bella's tooth! :goodvibes

A good place to eat while you are there.

If Rafael is your server, tell him Brooklynn says hello. He's from Brooklyn, so he took a liking to her. He might remember her.

If you call him Chabalito and tell him Brooklynn said hi he will definitely give you extra special attention!

I will tell you this Fantasmic is my favorite nighttime show on property but until they change the way they are currently doing it I will not be seeing it. To say it was a horrible awful miserable mess is putting it nicely. At an hour and 15 minutes til showtime it was already standing room only. They did two shows that night. One at 9:00 and one at 10:30. We lined up for the 10:30 one at 8:45 and they didn't let us into the theater until 10:15. It was hot and there were a jillion people all crowded into the area to make sure they got a seat for the second show. If you really want to see it just planning on being there a couple of hours early and waiting with a giant mass of people.

No baby news today.....I hope everyone is happy, healthy and rested.

I loved all the pics MeMom!

I really do miss WDW! I love how they put so much detail into the stores and displays!

I wish I was going in October so I could meet you.
The "Free Dining" in Oct. is great bonus for you!
I hope you find flights that work. :thumbsup2
If you go I may have to put in an order for a Halloween Tinkerbell....;)

It's going to be awhile before I will be able to take time off because I'm changing job locations and I will now be the sole Manager. Right now there's two of us so it didn't matter when I went on vacation as long as it wasn't near a holiday. So it still looks like May or August for us. :woohoo:

Are you going to start a whole new thread when BrooklynnsMommy gets started? I need warning....my life is hectic lately and I'd hate to miss it.

Hi all!

It's been a crazy 36 hours but I am happy to report that Aileen Olivia arrived yesterday afternoon at 1:15, weighing in at an even 7 pounds and 19 3/4 inches - not too bad for almost 5 weeks early! Her lungs were quite immature and though she came out crying, we had a scary 30 minutes in the operating room that involved the crash cart, a tube down her throat, and chest compressions. Once she was stable again, she has just flourished! She was breathing without help by 2 am, had her IV out by 9 this morning, and started feeding right around then. If things continue on her current trend, we should be going home TOGETHER on Monday! During those tense moments in the ER, I never thought that would happen. I am sure that was the power of all the good thoughts and prayers we had behind us.

Here is our little princess: Aileen!
