Brooklynn takes Bella to meet Cinderella! Page 242 Downtown Disney

Finally got a chance to pop in. It looks like the four parks birthday celebration was a huge success! I'll be there on my birthday in Jan, but I'm not nearly as ambitious, just visiting Epcot!

LOVE Brooklynn's shoes and Bella's boa. They are absolutely fabulous. Your girls have excellent taste!

Rachel

I LOVED your 4 parks tour! Such a FAB way to celebrate your birthday! and I loved the Animal Kingdom Lodge piccies. A lovely reminder of my last trip with Mum - today we had arrived back home in the UK this time last year! :sad1:

Great to see Bella eating food! How has she been getting on with it? I'm not sure if I've said but Toby is now being "weaned". We struggled at first, he wasn't interested in anything really. But gradually he is getting there and is now loving it. He loves cheese and yoghurt and homemade fish pie!!!

Here are some piccies if you don't mind me sharing them!

I think Kona is 8:15. Coming by there might be a very good idea.

We can't wait to meet Henry, too! As for something for the girls, heaven only knows. Maybe a coloring book for Brooklynn or cheap jewelry or make-up. Bella - a plastic wrapper she can crinkle and chew on.

Ah, 8:15, that should be NO problem. I'll show up near the entrance of Kona around 8:00ish to partake in the blanket/LGMH trade-off. :goodvibes

Nice shot! Is it an addition to your water features collage?

Birthday dinner was totally simple.

disney09078.jpg

But totally GRAND! :thumbsup2 :goodvibes I love your corn dog message, it brought a smile to my face again.

We didn't set out to do huge things or lots of things, so it turned out just fine. It was a nice birthday.

What a great day it was! :yay:

The Pinkalicious Party looked awesome! Brooklynn's heels are fab, and love the pic of Bella with the boa!!

Disney is really the place to have a good family bonding time... really wish to bring the kids there.. and enjoy the whole trip.... but still waiting for the new angel so better set it after her 1 yr. birthday maybe that will be a great gift,,,,

Isabella is completely on real people food and has been for about a month. There is nothing she won't eat. She grabbed a slice of pizza out of my hand last night and shoved it in. She had a death grip on it so it ripped in half when I tried to take it away. She eats like a maniac but is not even 14 pounds yet, she is still a little peanut.

Thanks for sharing the pics of Toby is is a cutie. I especially love the one with his face all messy!

Wht is her fav food

Aw, love the scrunched up Brooklyn Princess face!:cutie:

I'm glad you didn't forget your gift card! Did you buy something special with it?

I didn't buy any special thing. I just got general stuff. I probably used it on the Splash Mountain towel and some other souvenirs later. I really don't remember.

MeMom, I wish I could explain this better but your TR's are just so fun and inviting. I always feel like I'm right there with you guys and your family. I am dreading the end!

AKL gift shop is so much fun! They don't skip a beat on keeping up with the theme, even in the littlest places!

Ooooh, I'm drooling over those zebra domes!

 Jill, do you remember what everyone was looking at while you were buying your umbrella?! popcorn::

Oh my gosh! Good thing you remembered to get your gift card!

Aw, what a fun new place to see Pluto and Chip and Dale!

And I just love the Splash Mountain gift shop!

Aw, what a great way to end your birthday at the MK! :cloud9:

I'm glad you feel like you are on the trip. As you can very well see, my pictures aren't much on quality, so I am glad they have some redeeming value in what they show. I'm not huge on posed pictures, but more like to capture just how things were from where I stood or sat, however it looked at the moment.

AKL does have a great gift shop. We had planned to stay there next summer for two nights like we did WL this summer, but it's going to have to wait until 2011. I have to get a bunch of medical bills behind me. I'll still visit for zebra domes, though. :)

I'm glad I remembered that gift card, too. I would have been sick if I had not remembered it until the next day!

You had such a great Four Parks, One Birthday celebration! I can't think of a better way to spend the day!

Thanks for those zebra dome pics -- I am salivating like crazy now. :rotfl:

Don't they look good?!?!?

brooklyn was big enough for splash?? I wonder if my nephew will be big enough in Feb (he will be 3.5 yr) and if he will go on it!

surely he will be. Have fun!

Four Parks One Day seems to have been a huge success. It's such a great idea, I'm going to have to try it someday.

I look forward to hearing about it! :thumbsup2

Great Update ! I am glad you enjoyed your four park extravaganza. I felt such a sense of accomplishment when I did mine.

You will always remember this birthday now.
I will be on the lookout for that LGMH ! Can't wait.

I'm sure I will remember that birthday. Who'da thunk 52 would be an especially cool one? ;)

We are so glad you are going to join us on NYE. :dance3:

What an amazing birthday! Congrats on getting all 4 parks finished :thumbsup2

Hmmmm those zebra domes look yummyyyyy! :goodvibes

I love the Splash towel! So cool that Brooklynn got to ride for the first time!

Even in the rain, that castle still looks beautiful :wizard:

I wish I could make zebra domes at home - correctly. I tried making something similar once, but I didn't have the right texture in the cake, so they didn't taste the same.

She was very excited about riding Splash. :thumbsup2

The castle does look beautiful. ::yes::

What a fun birthday celebration! Glad you were able to make all 4 parks!! I hope you bought yourself something with the gift card-though knowing you I am not so sure :rolleyes1

I was typing while Jill was adding those fab u lous pics. Tooo cute!!

As far as I recall, I just bought general stuff. I didn't buy many souvenirs the last two trips. I am hoping to luck up on some good Christmas sales when we go in December.

I'm glad that four parks, one day was such a success! I can't think of a better way to spend a birthday-with your favorite people in the most magical place on Earth!

The party pictures are adorable. Bella looks like such a sweetie and she always seems so content. I love Brooklynn's look of approval for her hair do and makeup.

Exactly how I felt! :thumbsup2

Bella is always happy as long as she's properly fed.

Brooklynn loves dressing up and primping. She was a happy little girl. :lovestruc

Awwwwww!! Jill, please tell Brooklyn that I loved her red shoes she picked out at the pinkalicious party!!! So cute and glamorous!!!! Isabella was looking cute as well in her little fur boa!!! :goodvibes

The red shoes were five sizes too big, too.

Bella felt like she needed to be stylin' like the big girls. :goodvibes

what an angel

She's a sweetie!

The birthday party looks like so much fun!!! Brooklyn's red heels just complete her outfit, and I love Bella's feather boa!!!

Most of the girls were clomping around in shoes that were far too big for them. It was cute.

Great updates! Loved the pictures from your 4 parks.

Then birthday party looked like so much fun! I love Brooklynn's choice of red shoes!

I bet Hannah would have enjoyed that party, too. If we ever have a mega-meet in Disney WOrld, we'll have to have a tub of dresses, shoes, and jewelry for the little girls to play with. :)

looks like a great time!! brooklyn looks beautiful! and bella's expression with the boa is too funny!!

It was fun to watch the girls' expressions as their friends were transformed before thier eyes.

I figured I should dress Bella up now. When she gets old enough for this party, she probably won't be inside getting dolled up; she'll be up on the roof doing someraults. This little girl is going to be a real go-getter! She is so much like Trent was as a baby. He was so laid back and easily satisfied as far as personality, yet he was always on the go in physical pursuits.

what a great birthday!!! so glad you guys got the 4 parks in 1 day done. i'm impressed! :thumbsup2

and ZEBRA DOMES......

stylin! :cool2:

SO CUTE!

what a great idea for a party! i love how they had them strut down the runway. :goodvibes

Jill and I talked about how fun that job would be. We could have two big rooms - one all decked out for boys and one all sparkled up for girls. We would have fun hosting parties!

Your birthday looked fantastic! I can't imagine a better one than that!

Wow! That was some party! My DD recently went to a dress up party similar to that and they had an entire room full of dresses, shoes, jewelry, etc. I have never seen such a setup until seeing your pictures! How does someone end up with that much stuff??? Looks like a blast though. Having little girls is just the best (until they are teenagers anyway).:rolleyes1

Things have changed so much since I was little. I only remember having two or three birthday parties during my entire childhood. Seems like we had them for the big ones like turning 1 and 5. Now kids have them every year and they are like broadway productions! :) I always feel a little stressed each year over my DD's party. I want to give her a party just as nice as the ones she goes to but I have to admit that party planning is not my strong point (not to mention the cost). I have one for her coming up soon and I am already racking my brain to come up with something clever and affordable. I kind of wish things were like they used to be where cake and ice cream and having friends over to play was enough. I am so old fashioned!

Back in my day, you only had little parties, too. They get more and more expensive and extravagant as the years go on. They're fun, though. :) I'm pretty cheap/frugal, too, but the kids don't care of parties are cheap or expensive. They just like to be together. :thumbsup2

Thank you :goodvibes We'll definitely all think of him every day and make him proud :) Family time is always good, even under those circumstances. We all got to have some smiles and laughs while we were sharing funny family stories. My family has quite a few interesting ones :lmao:

Casey's is a perfect birthday dinner ::yes:: I looove the corn dog nuggets

Awwwwwwwww!

I imagine every family had some interesting stories.

I'm not big on corn dog nuggets, but those are good ones!

I want a Pinkalicious Party. Too much fun. I love the red shoes. She has great taste. I like your idea of getting towels for souvenirs.

She can come up with some wild outfits, but in her eyes, she looks fabulous in all of them. :thumbsup2

I like to get some practical things as souvenirs so they won't just sit untouched. If I serve something with a Mickey spoon, dry off with a Splash Mountain towel, drink from a Magic Kingdom mug, or hang up a note with an Animal Kingdom magnet, I get continuing happiness between trips. :)

I just took this last week.

IMG_0770.jpg

I'm so glad you got that. Now I don't have to track down Pluto and ask to take a picture of his neck!

Love this picture Jill! :lovestruc

She already knows how to cheese it up for the camera.

Do we have a hidden headless MeMom in one of those pictures?

The party looked like so much fun! I'll bet Brooklynn is still talking about it!

I think your 4 parks in one day, was the perfect way to spend a birthday. I might just have to try that next July!

You recognized the cheap clothes and the flab, right?

Maybe we'll meet you at one of the parks for a birthday snack. :thumbsup2

We got one of those umbrellas after ours disappeared on Journey into Imagination in May!

As of tomorrow, we'll officially be in the teens! :cool1: Your MK pictures are wonderful and put a huge grin on my face!

Jill - I love the pics of Brooklynn "helping" with her little sis - both girls are beyond cute!

Aaah, the teens. When you are takling about a Disney wait, the teens are a good thing!

Brooklynn adores her little sister. It'll be interesting to see what happens to that as Bella begins to get into Brooklynn's things as she becomes more mobile.

Who knows. I should have worn the lime green so other disers would speak, but that may have freaked my DH out. He doesn't get the whole Disboards thing.

Poor man. He doesn't know what he's missing. :goodvibes

Great updates. Happy birthday again MeMom! What a great day. Jill- the girls just keep gettting more beautiful!

Thanks. I wish I could spend every birthday in Disney World.

Those girls are such sweet and precious little gifts.
How did I get so lucky?

Great 4 parks birthday! I love that first picture of the castle. It's just beautiful. Too bad those people had to be standing right in the middle of the street and ruining it!

The Pinkalicious party looked so fun!

I know. I kept screaming at all of them to get out of my picture, but they didn't pay any attention to me!!!

What a great birthday you had! Mine is July 26 and I don't think I'll ever spend it in Disney because I'm such a wimp when it comes to the heat, but maybe...:scratchin

Jill, the birthday party looked like so much fun for the girls!

I have certain weeks I can go, with not a lot of flexibility, so we're just used to summers. I'd like to skip school for a few days in January or February sometime and go when the crowds are low.

Glad to see the 4 parks in one day for your birthday was a success!! What a great way to spend your birthday! With the people you love at the place you love!!

Yep! :cool1:

Wow! Your birthday wish came true, and all 4 parks day was spectacular!

It looked like so much fun to visit each park, get a little food, go on a few rides and shop a little. Sounds like a perfect birthday to me! :thumbsup2

:lovestruc Love the Pinkalicios Party pics!
Brooklynn looks sweet in her gown and red shoes!
Bella's boa would match Brooklynn's shoes....:rotfl:
Very fun idea for a party! Love the bright colors in the decor! :cloud9:

I agree with Tinkgirl your TR's are so entertaining and I love all the details in your pics!

The only way it could have been more perfect is if someone else had been footing the bill!

You could easily throw a dress up party at home. I bet you could get lots of dress-up clothes donated or cheap from Goodwill. You could also do a pirate party for boys, or maybe soldiers or race car drivers.

I am glad you like our trips. Are you ready for a December one? :)

I loved reading through your 4 parks in 1 day birthday celebration. You guys hit everything perfectly and the pictures were great. Brooklyn's Pinkalicious party pictures are too cute. What a great place for a party.

I hope everyone has a safe and happy Thanksgiving holiday. Our family will be visiting my family in Atlanta. They all think the baby crossed it's legs and we don't know if it is a boy or girl until our next appt in Dec. I am bringing a pink cake frosted white that reads "Guess what we are having...". It will be fun to see the reactions. Abby will get to cut it and be the first to know she is going to have a sister.

Safe travels for you. You will come back and share the big reveal with us, right? :yay:

Woo! Tell Brookie I said, "Work it, girl!" :cutie:

Oh, she has plenty of sass to do just that. She kept wanting more make-up.
She wasn't big on going up on stage, though. The birthday girl, however, she worked the stage. She was all over the place showing out!

Rachel

Epcot is a good place for a birthday. Where are you eating your birthday dinner?

Don't they, though?

Toby looks quite happy with his eating. :)

Ah, 8:15, that should be NO problem. I'll show up near the entrance of Kona around 8:00ish to partake in the blanket/LGMH trade-off. :goodvibes

Nice shot! Is it an addition to your water features collage?

But totally GRAND! :thumbsup2 :goodvibes I love your corn dog message, it brought a smile to my face again.

What a great day it was! :yay:

The Pinkalicious Party looked awesome! Brooklynn's heels are fab, and love the pic of Bella with the boa!!

Whenever I get around to the water feature collage, whenever I get the time to go through thousands of pictures, that could very well be one. :goodvibes

I definitely had you in mind with the corn dog Hi! :)

Disney is really the place to have a good family bonding time... really wish to bring the kids there.. and enjoy the whole trip.... but still waiting for the new angel so better set it after her 1 yr. birthday maybe that will be a great gift,,,,

She does eat like a maniac. It's too funny to see her eat things that are bigger than her head. Hope she has a great metabolism! :rotfl:

Wht is her fav food

I can't say for sure, but I know she wolfed down some green beans and peas when she was here last. She liked them pretty well.

You recognized the cheap clothes and the flab, right?

Maybe we'll meet you at one of the parks for a birthday snack. :thumbsup2

Oh stop that, I recognized the bottom half of baby Bella! :cutie:
I'm all about sweats this time of year! Just bought another zip up hoodie and pants today for Disney....
I'm counting on meeting you guys for either a snack or a sit down meal!
I can't wait!

Memom,

I hope you have a great Thanksgiving. I will be thinking about you as I am watching the parade.

I am glad your birthday turned out the way you wanted. It sounded perfect.

Memom,

I hope you have a great Thanksgiving. I will be thinking about you as I am watching the parade.

I am glad your birthday turned out the way you wanted. It sounded perfect.

I will be watching. I got two of the Sailor Mickeys from Macy's - one for me and one for Jill. I suppose I'll bring them out of the back room to watch the big debut. :)

I surely cannot complain about that birthday.

What a fun party!! It looks like both girls had fun. :) That's a neat idea.

Brooklynn had a ball. Bella held out for a while, but got fussy at tea party time. I took her outside to walk and she fell asleep, so we spent the last half of the party downstairs on the couch.

Your trip is really, really, really almost here now! :dance3:

*****************************

Has anyone seen Four Christmases? :santa: I was looking at it earlier at Target. Is it worth seeing?

And now for July 31st - not a Four Parks day.

We'll start in the room with Bella and Minnie.

disney09104.jpg

Brooklynn and I went down for some breakfast.

She likes to push the elevator buttons, as any little one does.

disney09105.jpg

She also liked to walk under the big Play-Doh can.

We ended up buying this at some point, but it may have been on the October trip.

Brooklynn looks so happy just strolling around in her nightgown!
I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of my D23 magazine, thanks for the reminder...
