Brooklynn takes Bella to meet Cinderella! Page 242 Downtown Disney

Our walk for St Jude was this Saturday too. I didn't realize what was going when I looked out into the mall on Sunday morning and there were a TON of people walking. More than the usual mall walkers. (I work at JCPenny) At least I think it was Sunday, it might have been Sat. The days are starting to blur together. Too much retail can give you a headache at this time of year. Although I hardly ever need retail therapy anymore.
SO glad that you made it home safely and that you enjoyed your time with your family.

For those watching flights....

You might check out allegiant air if you have one near you. They just dropped most spring flights from $100 each way to $80 each way. The big disadvantage however is they fly into Sanford (about 1 hr from WDW), not MCO so no ME is available.

Flights for us into MCO are running $380 each so we can get a rental car for the week and still come out ahead! (And the flights are all direct so no sitting in another airport waiting for a connecting flight)

I wouldn't mind driving, but I'm spoiled to flying. It's so nice to be there in less than two hours. We'd rent a car, too, if we decided to drive, so that plus gas is not much less than flying when there are only two of us. If you added a third or fourth, then you'd see the big savings.

Hi MeMom, forgive the long absence. I'll try my best to catch back up. Hope all has been well with you and your sweet crew.:)

All has been well here. Everybody is busy, and we meet each other coming and going. One more day of work, and then I have five straight days to do whatever I want. :thumbsup2

We crossed paths a few times. We were at MK with you on Monday (in our party, we had 3 girls, all blondes ages 1, 3, and 4 - we went to BBB and mine got tranformed into Tiana (one of the only Tiana's in the park that we could see and our friends DD was Aurora, ate lunch in the castle around 1:20). Also, we were with you at MK on Friday - didn't get there until 10:30 this day. We were mostly in Adventureland, but took our last ride on Dumbo around 2:00. We were at the rained out Christmas Party Tues night, but got a raincheck and went to the party on Thrs night. I always had my eye out for potential dissers - also, I am 21 weeks pregnant so had a bump:). I like Memom's idea about a master calendar for all of us - hahaha.

One day we're going to have a mega-Dis meet. :)

I loved all the pics from Jammin Jungle! By this time in the day, were you still glad you had planned all four parks in one day? :lmao:

Of course! When I am in Disney World, I don't know what tired is. :goodvibes

It was great to see young and old, black and white, rich and poor out walking for a common cause. One of Jill's friends has a son who is receiving help from St. Jude right now, and we saw her there. It hit home and made our walking seem like such a feeble thing compared to her walking. I think Jill said her son was four months old when they discovered a tumor that he is being treated for.

I only stayed a little while to take a few more pictures, and here's what I got.

It was raining like crazy when I left. All shapes and sizes of poncho-covered people made their way out of the park, sloshing in ankle deep water. It was good to finally get back to the room for dry clothes and a comfortable bed to rest on.

After some rest, it appears that I took some pictures of food. :)

I am guessing one of these people was eating some of that, but I really can't remember.

disney09062.jpg

I believe Jill was purchasing an umbrella here.

disney09063.jpg

I have no idea what everyone is looking back at.

Here we are at Park #4 - Magic Kingdom. I had to get a picture of our entrance as we had accomplished our goal...and quite easily at that.

Entering the final celebration phase of the day.

disney09066.jpg

We had to go to City Hall to pick up my $75 gift card. I had totally forgotten about it until just before we got there. I'm glad I remembered before it was too late. ::yes::

I took Jill over to show her the little theater I had found earlier in the trip, and while we were there we saw Pluto,

disney09069.jpg

and then these guys.

disney09071.jpg

I can't recall where John and Brooklynn were at that time.

We stopped in the baby care center for a changing. A new CM was being trained.

If memory serves me right, this is also the night Brooklynn rode Splash for the first time. I rocked Bella to sleep while Jill, John, Brooklynn, Trent, and Jarvis rode.

Anyway, we were able to do a little something in all four parks, and we still had some time to rest. We didn't set out to do huge things or lots of things, so it turned out just fine. It was a nice birthday.

Aw, love the scrunched up Brooklyn Princess face!:cutie:

I'm glad you didn't forget your gift card! Did you buy something special with it?

Did Brooklyn like Splash?

MeMom, I wish I could explain this better but your TR's are just so fun and inviting. I always feel like I'm right there with you guys and your family. I am dreading the end!

AKL gift shop is so much fun! They don't skip a beat on keeping up with the theme, even in the littlest places!

Ooooh, I'm drooling over those zebra domes!

 Jill, do you remember what everyone was looking at while you were buying your umbrella?! popcorn::

Oh my gosh! Good thing you remembered to get your gift card!

Aw, what a fun new place to see Pluto and Chip and Dale!

And I just love the Splash Mountain gift shop!

Aw, what a great way to end your birthday at the MK! :cloud9:

You had such a great Four Parks, One Birthday celebration! I can't think of a better way to spend the day!

Thanks for those zebra dome pics -- I am salivating like crazy now. :rotfl:

brooklyn was big enough for splash?? I wonder if my nephew will be big enough in Feb (he will be 3.5 yr) and if he will go on it!

Four Parks One Day seems to have been a huge success. It's such a great idea, I'm going to have to try it someday.

Great Update ! I am glad you enjoyed your four park extravaganza. I felt such a sense of accomplishment when I did mine.

You will always remember this birthday now.

I will be on the lookout for that LGMH ! Can't wait.

Did Brooklyn like Splash?

She said the big hill made her tummy feel funny. Coincidentally, she is sitting in the laundry basket right now riding Splash Mountain with her "friends" SHe keeps telling them "Hold on tight and we're off!"

 Jill, do you remember what everyone was looking at while you were buying your umbrella?! popcorn::

I have no clue:confused:

Well she definitely is now, but this summer was iffy. We went to measure her and the CM who was working at the front watched us. She was just a smidge too short because she was wearing her Crocs not her tennis shoes. I told him she had ridden Soarin' 3 times already and he just turned his back and said it was time for his break. We didn't ask questions we just picked her up and zoomed through the line and on to our log!

What an amazing birthday! Congrats on getting all 4 parks finished :thumbsup2

Hmmmm those zebra domes look yummyyyyy! :goodvibes

I love the Splash towel! So cool that Brooklynn got to ride for the first time!

Even in the rain, that castle still looks beautiful :wizard:

Here are some pictures from this weekend's Pinkalicious Party Palace.

When we first arrived Brooklynn got to go into a room that had about 30 dresses and choose whichever one she wanted. Then she got to pick shoes and jewelry to complete her outfit.

After pizza and cake, the birthday girl opened her presents and then the girls got to go dance on the stage some more.

They had a blast and they were all still talking about it today at school.

I'm glad that four parks, one day was such a success! I can't think of a better way to spend a birthday-with your favorite people in the most magical place on Earth!

The party pictures are adorable. Bella looks like such a sweetie and she always seems so content. I love Brooklynn's look of approval for her hair do and makeup.
