I called DCL as we also have the docs that just list "transfers included." THe rep told me that at LAX, we will have to go to baggage claim and collect our own bags--not the service we are used to at MCO. She says to just find the DCL rep at the airport after we have our bags. The rep will escort us to the bus to the hotel.

On the way back, she says the bus will depart the resorts "about noon." She says that there will be DCL reps at each of the Disneyland hotels as there are "many" people on our cruise staying at the hotels. The reps there will advise us as to exactly what time our bus will leave for the port. She said that it really doesn't matter whether we have our luggage tags on or not when we fly into LAX. DCL cannot claim our bags for us at LAX. She also said that information re our transportation to the port should be in the documents we will get when we check in at the resort.

When we leave the resort for the port, our tags will need to be on our bags.

Obviously, I cannot verify the accuracy of this information beyond knowing that is was what the DCL CM told me on the phone. I'm just a little nervous because she initially said, "Ok, you are departing on the 20th," and I answered, "No, I am sailing on the 20th, I am departing from home on the 17th with a stay at Disneyland." "Oh, ok, here is your land package information....." Like it must have been on another computer screen or something.

I'm crossing all fingers--I've never had less documentation in writing before! Basically, all DCL has written anywhere is "land package."

Yeah! We got our docs today too! The UPS guy does like me after all!

I have been shoe shopping ALL day! I have a headache and sore feet!!! I will be searching more this weekend! I did end up with a new pair of Keen shoes. They will take the place of my tennis shoes and water shoes! Very comfy so far!

We always bring Scrabble with us when we travel to play on the plane. If the ship does not have one, we would be glad to share our larger than normal travel game. We are in 2142.

Congrats to all who got their documents! What a day here today! We just booked the 11 day Wonder cruise. I can't wait, two great cruises two years in a row.

Yes! Our docs arrived today also. Like other posts before us, our docs are not clear on our booked transportation, but we have receipts for it, so someone is going to have to get us to port to catch the ship. At last, we feel like we are on the downward slide towards our holiday. We are going to a wedding tomorrow, and after that I can start packing cases!!!

I did end up with a new pair of Keen shoes. They will take the place of my tennis shoes and water shoes! Very comfy so far!

I bought these last April and I LOVE them!! I am doing the same as you, no extra tennies or water shoes. I wore them to Disneyland and they were wonderful! I got a tiger-striped tan on my feet

Have tryed all day to get an answer from Disney/UPS/TA on where are our doc's. Now I am starting to get mad. Was shipped out Aug. 1. Sent 3 day air. My TA's office is in Tusan AZ. I live in New Orleans. My Doc's are going to AZ. Started checking UPS traking no. All I can find out is the package is in transit. So I called Disney and got a superviser that I had an agument that told me she couldn't tell me anything because the TA owned my res. This is when I lost it and got real upset. So the way this is going I will be the last one to get our Doc's. After this I will be totaly gray from stressing out. The only 2 good things about today is DH got out travelers checks, and came home to find a postcard from Mickey Mouse. Who ever sent this postcard, realy brightened a very stressfull bad Disneyday.

Got Doc's TODAY!!!!!!!
and this morning was very lucky to join your famous "Flounders" group. I took a great slip-slide and landed on my left knee really good. My boss had me wear a bag of ice, on my pants, over my knee all day today, it sure felt good. I just hope to be fully healed so I can take the stairs all the time on the cruise - I do like to eat - especially desserts.
