Isn't anyone interested in seeing Barcelona? I am thinking of spending several days precruise there. With the length of this cruise, I have limited time to explore Europe, but the idea of flying there and immediately getting on a ship bound for home seems wrong.

Val ~ Dee left me with her US Airway Mag which has an article about Barcelona! I haven't read it but I'm afraid that after I do, that I'll want to spend more time there!

Thanks Dee! :wave2:

So much to see with so little time!

London, Paris, Barcelona! Well at least we do have the overnighter in Barcelona.

At least no decisions have to be made until August!

Since we are not leaving until late Sunday afternoon, I promised my sis we would get out early Sunday to check out all the Antonio Gaudi architecture. I would love to visit the Beneditine monastery also if we have the time. But I have a feeling I will have to choose just one. :)

So I'm home -- my flight was 90 min. delayed, but I still made it to my son's school performance tonight...whew!

I plan onsight-seeing in Barcelona (especially after reading the US AIr article), but I think we'll get there on the 18th and have the 1.5 days. There's so much more I want to do in Europe before the cruise...

I'll try to scan the article and post it.

IT'S FRIDAY!ONE WEEK CLOSER!!

Sign me up for DIS Tag! I did this on a 4nt cruise and it was fun. Still remember coming back to the cabin and it was stuck to the metal ceiling *above* the door - to funny! 14nts of DIS Tag should be even funner! :bounce:

Janet -- Had no idea Crocs were made in Canada. Duh....should've read more! Sorry 'bout that. I do know the Dick's Sporting Goods and Nordstroms near us carry them. Not sure about ::MickeyMo colors, though.

Hey Guys,

A word about Crocs. They are made in different places. I have pink ones that are made in Canada (I bought these from REI) and black ones that are made in Colorado (I bought these from Nordstrom). The ones from Colorado are much smaller than the ones from Canada. Now I'm on a mission to find the black ones that are made in Canada and am taking the ones I have back. My pink ones are so much more comfy. They are both the Cayman style.

Please tell me about DIS Tag!! :wave2: I have an idea of what it is and I want to join too!! :Pinkbounc

Hey everyone,

I'm hoping to spend 3 - 4 days somewhere (Paris? London?) pre-cruises ... haven't decided yet for sure what I'm doing. But I also don't want to get to Europe and hop on the ship right away.

It's getting closer!! One year from now and the eastbound repo will be almost done. I can't wait to see copies of their Navigators! Then let the planning frenzy begin!!

Raining out this way too Janet ...

I haven't seen the Cayman style here, yet.

I'll let you know if I find any!

And what do you know...................The Sun Came out Today! Could it be we will actually get a decent weekend?!? :cheer2: :cheer2:

Have A Great Memorial Day Weekend!

It's a little lime-green, mickey-shaped magnet, with DIS names and stateroom numbers on it, that mysteriously finds its way to each stateroom door on the list. If you get it, you're it, and your job is to tag someone else's door.

Considering how many of us there are, we will have to have more than one magnet. Each magnet has an "in case I'm lost, please return to stateroom # <xxxx>" line on it.

Only people who want to participate need share their stateroom #. We never put names on the magnets, just your DIS name (e.g. Dee47 -- 1234 [not my actual #, but you get the idea]).

It's a fun little game.

Let me know if you want in. I'll add your name to "The List" :thumbsup2

I'll update as we go. I won't post stateroom #s out here, don't worry. As we get MUCH closer to sailing date, I'll PM the participants and ask for your stateroom #s.
I'm new at this so didn't know where you wanted me to add my name.So I added it above. Thanks for doing the Dis Tag - sounds like fun! nanaguide

Thanks for the link! It looks beautiful and convenient. I'll be looking for other cruisers when I'm there. Is anyone making pins or buttons we can wear so we can spot each other?
