Hello everyone!

I had a busy weekend. My DH and I made two trips from MN to WI and moved all of our large furniture into storage garages. We're making a permanent move to WI. Needless to say, I was a bit tired yesterday. Lifting furniture and boxes all weekend. The height of my weekend was when my Granny visited and brought me an early birthday cake yesterday. She's so cute. She has a Mickey cake mold....the one of his head. She's been making them for a few years now. They're just as adorable each time. She knows how to make me happy!

Any chances that you might get something Disney-themed for your birthday?! I hope so! My birthday is this coming Saturday. I'm strictly requesting cast for Disneyland from my family! (I leave for CA next Monday night). Not as fun to open, but when I take off down Mainstreet for the first time....no regrets! He he he!

Quick story for you...
My friend just came home to MN after 2 months in Ireland & England. She did some work and a lot of sightseeing. She needed a way to get back to the states from South Hampton. She took the QM2 across the Atlantic. I haven't had much of a chance to ask her about her cruise yet, but the first thing she told me was that a "WESTbound" trip across the Atlantic is the best way to go. She said that the extra hour of sleep each night was just wonderful! Hhhhmmmmmmm.....who else do we know that's going on a Westbound trans-atlantic cruise?! Yay for the ship of Fools! I will have to grill her about the rest of her trip & let you know if I find out anything interesting.

Hi everyone!

You really made me smile today -- thanks so much for all your good wishes!

So the only Disney-related thing I got was the wrapping paper But I got the first season of NCIS -- it came out today! Happy birthday for me!

I also got a deluxe Scrabble edition, which I've wanted for a long time. We went to the Rainforest Cafe for my birthday dinner!

Dee, It's nice that your family thought to wrap your presents in Disneyness! It's the little things in life! Sounds like you had a nice day & a fun dinner.

I went to see X-men 3 last night. Before it started I saw the nice long trailor for Pirates II again & I can't wait! The "bad guys" sure look icky in this movie, but it certainly looks like a great flick! I hope the dumbotron will be playing Pirates II on our cruise! I am so excited to watch movies under the stars. My DH always wants to watch movies....I always want to be outside....this is PERFECT for us. It will make us both happy!

When I cruised in Feb. they played the original Pirates on the giant screen. The movie started late -- I think it was 10:30 or something like that. It was so much fun to watch it under the stars as the ship was sailing! I love that screen!

Been off the board for a while planning and making all the decorations and flowers for my daughters graduation party and my sons wedding. I am now trying to get back into the swing of things at work. Blah....

I just bought a pair of Croc's last week. I have been putting it off for 2 years because of the cost and my daughters keep teasing me about them being ugly. I thought they would be perfect for yard work. I love my garden and spend a lot of time outside. I finally decided to buy them and love them. I am now thinking of buying another pair for the cruise!
