Scratch got on the wait list last year, in September. She has been waiting ever since then!

If I can swing it count me in. Me DH, DD 21 & DD 18.

So excited already not sure how I am going to last :rotfl:

Less than 2 weeks to go - to we finally get to book :cool1:

One nice thing, after meeting all the "strangers" you've talked too - is seeing them day after day and always having someone you can talk to on the ship. Its like sailing with an extended family that is somewhat dysfunctional but still gets along with each other :rotfl2:

We will get started on plans for Paris and a group trip down to the ship.

Yes, this is the nicest group of people I have ever met. WHo knew that in May of 2004 we would begin planning the "Vacation of a Lifetime" only to be repeating it in 2007. Meeting many of the cruisers before we sailed and since we have returned has been so nice. We knew last year that when we spent 2 weeks together that some of us would remain life long friends, some of us would be friendly, and some of us would rather not see others of us again. But the core group has become close. Even at dinner last weekend, it was like we just got off the ship a few days prior and we had known each other forever. No awardness, nothing. Just good friends from several places.

Hello, I'm another hopeful for your list!

I'm a PC vet that didn't get to meet very many people last repo in August(joined in a little late). Here I am, trying to fix that problem!

I got the call this afternoon. Disney said that they are going to try to start booking the waitlisters on Monday! One of my staterooms wasn't on the waitlist, so I'll be booking two different days. When the whole process is done I'll be one happy cruiser! I saved myself a golden chocolate pirate coin from my december cruise as my booking celebration treat! I know, I know, silly! I figure I'll drink a couple of glasses of wine too!

It's safe to say that we'll all be needing a large jar of peanut butter to sustain us while we sit on the phone in the next couple of weeks. Best wishes to everyone in booking your repo cruise! I can't wait to find out who the fools will be!

TTFN

Don't worry, we will make sure you are well informed this trip.

With the prices, we may all be eating peanut butter for the next year and a half!

Melissa, Paris can never be a cruise port, too far inland for the big ships even with a river.

One thing to think about, last time DCL announced Repos, ev eryone and thier TA called DCL right off, so 2 or more cabins were being held for the same party. THis caused the rates to skyrocket on the first day and for both cruises to show sold out with in days, when they really weren't. By the time people made thier choice of cabins and paid their deposit, a lot of hopefulls were shut out because the prices were so high.

I see your point.... I will only have my TA call and hope for the best!! Thanks!! I didn't realize that would make the prices jump.

It's Peanut Butter and Mac n' Cheese for the next year! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I'm getting a little worried! I haven't heard from DCL! :confused3

Or maybe I was pretty specific in my request that they figured there is no need to contact me! :teeth:

Group Trip to DLP!

Sounds like a Plan!

But then again, everything is in the planning stages!

Oh I just had an IDEA!

Since many of us didn't get to use the Deck 4 Loungers, we should have a specific day and meet there! :lmao:

Hi DisneyDiva and Melissa!

Melissa how exciting you are giving this as a surprise! Good luck trying to keep it a secret! :thumbsup2

DisneyDiva - let's hope we get to sail again together and THIS time you will meet more of us! pirate:

Janet, good idea!

:rotfl2:

Two activities planned already - and we haven't even booked yet :goodvibes

I'll be at both of them

Count us in the "unofficial" official group, DH, DD(then 8) and me. We are currently booked for easter 2007 and want to switch to the repo.

My crazy DH thinks we can do both. He must have advanced knowledge of the lottery this weekend... :lmao: or we will go with the mac n' cheese for a year and half plan already endorsed on this thread.

I have read of your travels on the last august repo, so hopefully we will make it through the waitlist, since everyone seems like so much fun

Thankfully, I love mac 'n cheese already, so that's ONE way I can save money. I took the liberty of smashing that last little sliver of soap to the new bar of soap this morning.....that should help too....now, I just have to come up with like $7,999 more dollars! It's best to keep a positive attitude in a time like this!

Welcome Haley'smom! You're in for a real treat. The August bunch was lots of fun.

Would anyone like to start a petition with me? We NEED to make sure the Ian (the funniest CM ever) is on our cruise! I should just write Disney and tell them that they must have him on this trip. He was such a great entertainer last August. Anybody else an Ian fan? Our family loved watching him dance ....in fact he almost ran me over at the pirate party he was dancing so wildly. Lots of fun.

Well I got my phone call this afternonn!

If I get that Cat 3, we're gonna bring her Home for our next "Trip of A Lifetime!"

There are not looking into the requests for specific cabins, unless of course they are Cat 1, 2 or 3!

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I think I have lost my marbles!

Congrats Janet!!!!! Now that's a one BR or just a bigger room? Need a roomie?

That's the One Bedroom! I'll switch roomies with you! :rolleyes1

Need it just in case DD gets SeaSick! :lmao: :lmao:

I also second that they bring back Ian! He was great Fun!

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

You mean your not going to send your DD down to her Aunts :rotfl:

I am perplexed :confused3 ...who is this Ian person that everyone is raving about? We were on the 2/18 Eastern and I did not see him (and I am sure that I would have noticed him, given all of the accolades). Travis was the entertainment CM that we saw everywhere (and that DD7 had a crush on). More info (and hopefully embarassing stories) please?

He was a chap from England! He was wonderful at keeping us entertained! Unfortunately, his contact came up last September and he has moved on.

He always had us laughing and got the crowds going! His energy level would put a hyper two year old to shame!LOL
