Glad to hear I am not the only one that will go to EXTREME measures to get booked! :rotfl:

I got the call this afternoon & am excited to say that I'm bringing the Magic home with 9 other family members & friends on August 18th! We booked category 11 rooms, 7th deck forward. We're typically not in our rooms much, so we thought we'd save all of the verandah rooms for all of you! :)

Anyways, I hope to be celebrating with all of you very soon! I still need to book another cat. 11 room next Tuesday. My one friend didn't show any interest in going to the Med. until the last minute. Not sure if anyone is interested, but we paid $4,510.70 per couple. This includes taxes, port fees and insurance. Transfer prices have not been determined yet, so I'm not sure what those will be.

Let's hurry this week up so everyone else can get their rooms! We all know that Mickey needs good deckhands to help him bring the Magic home from Spain!

Well, I guess I won't have to be late for work next Tuesday! :thumbsup2

Got my call this afternoon!

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Let the List Begin!

Good Luck to Everybody Next Tuesday! Will be rooting for you!

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Got the call yesterday from my Travel Agent. We are booked for two cat. 9s midship. We are close to the laundry room, which I LOVED last August. Now I KNOW I can make it on a seven day supply of clothing. I wonder how busy the laundry room will be on embarkation day.

There are so many people waiting; I hope those people get good news today!

How is everyone getting booked? Do travel agents have an advantage?
Are you going through Dreams? :confused3

Do you think it is too soon to be excited? I do not think so. :thumbsup2

I have never spent 2 weeks alone with DH. This is going to be awesome and of course I will be traveling with some old cruise friends as well (right Pat).

This is going to be an awesome experience. I usually travel in the fall so I can not imagine how crowded it will be. The one thing I feel sure of is that DCL will keep us busy (if we want).

Good thing I do not drink coffee :coffee: , I would be even more chatty. :rotfl2:

Here is to meeting some of you and experiencing a wonderful once in a life time cruise. :drinking1

I agree, it's never too early to get excited about cruising with DCL!

I've come across too many cruisers, (non-DCL cruisers of course), who don't even know which ship they're sailing on or where they're going two weeks before they leave! WHAT?!!! I say why even go if you can't get excited about it the minute you book! So I send a toast right back at ya faireygod mother! I'm with you. I can't wait to cruise to new places and meet new friends!

Cheers!

I've only dealt with DCL before on our other cruises. I hear the deposit is $500 per person. I have some money down on another cruise do you think DCL will allow me to transfer that money to help with the down payment. We are taking our 2 daughters that would be $2000 deposit. YIKES!!!!

I had them Flip 3 ressies that I had with DCL!

Covered the Deposit and then some!

She wasn't sure if they were going to honor the OBC or 10% discounts.

I hope they do! Every little bit helps!

Dumb question....What is OBC? :confused3

Not a Dumb Question at all! There is no such thing here!

OBC = On Board Credit, that's what they give you when you rebook whilst sailing.

If you use your Disney CC you can also get OBC.

I was surprised at the dep amount. I guess it makes sense seeing how it is like a btb.

I just had to put that ticker on my siggie.

My dep is paid and I am gonna keep an eye out for plane tickets.

Anyone have any ideas?
