It must be the Holiday time as it is very quiet here.

We just came back from the 11/11/06 Dbl Dip Cruise and while on board we played a game called DIStag. I do not know if anyone is familiar with this and would like to do it on this cruise. It was a lot of fun and I got to see more of the ship then I have ever done before, not to mention so excercise so I could work off those Venetian Dreams from Palo. We also got some neat stuff from around the world as people put items in that were from their area. The cost is only about 1-2.00 depending on what you do. Some folks probably spent more, but it is not necessary. Some items that were in the bags were tattos for pirate night, stickers, candy, post cards from their home state ot town, pencils, pens, glow sticks, Maple leaf pin, picture frame and pirate necklace. We all have limited weight and space with this being international so maybe we could limit it to post cards, pens pencil that are from our area.

Can you guys let me know what you think of this idea and if anyone is interested.

Thats great - what cat were you?

I have herd of upgrades - they are rare on Disney - but we have never seen any - lol

actually, not sure if you call it an "upgrade" or not. . .we were in a cat4, with waitlist for cat3--got an email that handicap cat3 was available and we got it!!!! the extra space will be great for me, hubby, dd (10) and hs(3)--(in this case "h" means HYPER! ). can hardly wait. only wish it had a bath tub--but, we'll make it work!

10 inches of snow and still falling! (snow day today and it's FRIDAY!)

Hey Everyone

When I first booked, the cruise was so far away, I didn't want to think about it too much. But I decided it's time to see who I'll be cruising with. There's no way I'll be able to go through all the old posts, but I'll stick around going forward.

I'm a crusie veteran (5 so far) but this will be my first Disney cruise. I'm sure afterwards I'll wonder why I waited so long.

Please add me to the list. Party of 2, myself and DS11, Cat 11.

ETA: We will be doing a week, maybe only 5 days, in Paris before the cruise. Thinking of taking the train to Spain. Anyone have any info on this?

GottaTravel - I've gotten group rates for the Eurorail (will dig up the figures later) - are you staying at DLP or in Paris the week before - since I am also coordinating the travel from DLP to the station. Using a transportation company recommended by the DLP board.

I do recommend - stopping by the DLP board if you have questions - they are a great group of people.

Thanks. I'd love to hear about anything you guys have worked out already. I haven't yet decided where to stay in Paris since I want to see Paris proper as well as Disney. But we could always just take the train into the city. Ah, decisions, decisions.

I was planning a DLP trip for this time last year, but plans changed and we ended up in Tokyo. But I still have all my research on Paris. I just need to dig it up again. I will definitely be visiting the DLP boards.
