Sorry, I kinda slacked off at work on Thursday......... :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

That was Mel's fault!

So I had to do double duty on Friday! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

FYI, I'll only be able to do it again next Friday and then I'm away for the following two Fridays!

Then I'll be back in the New Year!

I am not sure because I haven't played...but I saw the Bags hanging on the fish..my concern is we will have limited luggage space so we will need to be 'creative' in what we include in the bags...another thought is to start the tag after we have our 'land' portion of the cruise, thus allowing us to include 'stuff' we picked up in the ports in the bags......I say this because there were some very generous bags - people had stuff shipped to the port! and we would not be able to do that this trip.

Also waiting for an explaination :sunny:

DIS TAG...my version from my experience

It was a small bag that could hang from the fish outside the cabin. I received all sorts of things. There were magnets, postcards from the DISers hometown/state, Pencils, pirate night glow sticks, stickers, tatoos, candy, booze and BBq sauce. The average cost was 1 to 2.00 a bag.

It does not take a lot of room for stickers, postcards, pens/pencils or even magnets in our luggage. Maybe we could limit the distage to only something from your state. It could be magnets, keychains, pens/pencils, postcardsor bumperstickers.

Now here is how we played the game. There was a list and each person was given a magnet. When you got tagged (the magnet put on your door and a bag left on your fish) then you would take the magnet left and the goodie bag you made and tag the next person on your list. This went on for about 5 days. What was fun about it was trying not to get caught and seeing parts of the ship that you have never seen before.

I hope this helps. I look forward to doing it again/

so. . .(sorry i'm a bit slow. . .) roughly how many bags do you bring--would it be one for each cabin that is playing???? my kids would think this is a scream. . can we play too?

While I will not be on this cruise,

I have a lot of friends on Board. So I will be their in sprit.
Happy Planning All

I am FAST :woohoo: and I want to know, too????
So how many?
I think on 11/11/06 about 20 people played..and then there was GENEROUS :wizard: people who brought goodies for the non-playing slackers (me included :confused3 )

You bring one bag for each cabin playing. Grayfal is correct. There were 20 or so cabins on our 11/11/06 cruise and we made one bag for each cabin.

can you put me on the list. . .do we have to give you our cabin number? i guess that's stupid--yes you need my cabin number--do i have to pm someone? who's in charge???? :confused3

There was a version of tag played on the 8/19 cruise last summer where a big lime green Mickey head magnet was 'tagged' on players doors. You then had to pass it to another player.

At least that's how I thought it worked. :confused3

The "MVMCP" was Great. It was cold that night but the Magic Kingdom was decorated so beautiful!!!

I also saw the Space Shuttle launch from Downtown Disney. What a Sight!!!!! I think it is the most wonderful place in the world at Christmas!!

Saw Mario Lopez at Epcot at the Candlelight procession. He is soooo cute in person!!

Well I hope everyone has a good evening and I will talk to all soon.

Can disneyelf add me to the list of cruisers???

You Can Do It!

Since you are here anyways! :teeth:

just took a quick look at the tours offered for our westbound transatlantic. there are very few tours offered for people with kids less than 5--and the ones that are offered appear to be mainly walking tour--which is what young kids are not good at. we did a "regular" med. cruise summer of 2005--my son was 21 months old at the time-- were able to tour Herculaneum (this one for disney says recommend ages 5 and up), we did the pisa tour (disney recom ages 5 and up), we did the Picasso & Gaudi tour--disney says ages 5 and up.

i know for a fact that the barcelona bike tours can be done with kids--i called (might be a differnent tour company) and they will offer a pull behind trailer or baby seats on bike so the whole family can go--disney says ages 13 and up. . .

do i have to leave my 4 yr old son in the kids club to do any of the tours? hard to believe he's not old enough for the chocolate museum. . .you have to be 5yr old. . .

I seem to have lost my 'notification' for this thread...anyway.

Don't worry, Dee FGM will be the Friday Cheerleader - enjoy your trip.

smores - I am sure you will be able to work something out....I hadn't particularly planned on doing too many of DCL's excursions anyway as they tend to be 'pricey' - will be researching and probably booking on the 'outside' - I heard cruisecritic is a good source.

Everyone else, have a very Happy Holiday Season
