Bring us a Shrubbery!! May 25-June 1, 2007!!

Our DS got a Pal Mickey back in 2005, and we LOVE him!! He's a great mascot. If I can figure out how to post pictures, I'll post my favorite pix from our last trip .... they include Pal Mickey and a very large mug of German beer . . .;)

Pal Mickey and a large stein of beer??? This I gotta see!!!!! :lmao:

Yes you need a Pal! He is wonderful. We forgot him on one of our trips last year and I felt lost without him. And what better way for Plankton to take over the world then to get in good with the Mouse who runs it?

BTW Welcome to your Twenties! 29 days to go for you!!

17 for me!!!!!!:dance3:

I hope this works!!

Mickey should really stick with the small mugs 'o beer. . .

Because he obviously can't handle the large ones!

Lori, That is CLASSIC!!!!! Too funny!!!! You have made my morning!

Lori, I just got to work and saw your post...

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

That's awesome! Thank you so much for sharing! :lmao:

Glad you enjoyed it! I was just going to do a before and after shot of Mickey with the beer, but it was my DS 11 who had the idea Mickey should be laying down in the after shot. What kind of example am I setting for my child?!

That's awesome! Thank you so much for sharing!

And by the way, that wasn't my beer; it was my DNephew's. He's 22 and can definitely hold his alcohol WAY better than Mickey!;)

I wonder just how many weird looks we'll get at Artist Point if we do the wine pairings and then also opt for the Grand Marnier and Port flights? I wonder if that's too much alcohol to imbibe the night before we're going to be flying back to St. Louis?

Eh...I don't have to do the Grand Marnier flight. But Grimace would never forgive me if I passed up on a port tasting opportunity.

Port it is!!

Can you tell that I'm sitting at work eating my lunch dreaming about better more tasty things? ;)

WDW Florist...

Although I can't get the pictures from the WDW Florist site to post here I thought I'd share the product descriptions with you so that you can all share in the over-spendy anticipation with me!

28 more days to go!!! :cheer2:

Item #1 - Mickey's Happy Surprise Cake

They take something like 28 Mickey candy bars and make a cake shape with them and then fill the inside of the circle with even more candy (bye bye belt). It's wrapped with ribbons and placed on a cake stand to look just like a birthday cake. I paid extra to have it delivered with a bouquet of birthday balloons because Jay and I love inhaling helium...:lmao:

Just kidding about the helium (although I'm sure we'll take a couple of hits) but I bet you believed me for just a second, didn't you? ;)

Item #2 - Gourmet Extravaganza

I paid extra to have the wine replaced with a bottle of Iron Horse Fairy Tale Cuvee and two Mickey Mouse champagne Flutes. The package is delivered on a wooden Mickey head cheese cutting board and comes with cheese and crackers and chocolates. There's a mickey wine stopper and a mickey cheese spreader and it also comes with a small bud vase and a single red rose.

And I told Jay today that I really would like a Pal Mickey, so we'll see if he processes and retains that information. :goodvibes

All of the goodies sound awesome! :thumbsup2 The Iron Horse is a great choice. We get the Wedding Cuvee at home, but it just doesn't compare to the Fairy Tale! Speaking of Fairy Tale, did you ever PM Fairy_Tale_Bride to help you put something together? I was going to have her do something for us in October...

-Michelle

P.S. I hope Jay gets you your Pal Mickey! :goodvibes

I hope none. I've done that before. After finishing the wine pairings I wouldn't have noticed any looks anyway.

What is Mickey head cheese? :scared:

I love the Mickey & figment pictures! Too cute! My poor stuffed pals must feel really jipped because we don't drink.. The most exciting thing they get is a dole whip float!

Hi Michelle! I did work with Fairy Tale Bride when I placed my order - she was great. We first tried the Iron Horse on a Disney Cruise a few years back and it was really good - we always try to have a bottle of it whenever we're at Disney. I hope Jay gets me a Pal Mickey, too! ;)

Thanks for popping in!

A very good point - thank you!

Bwhahahahahahahaaha!!!!! :rotfl2:

That's what I get for trying to type too fast. It was supposed to be a Mickey-head cheese cutting board...or a better way of phrasing it might be a cutting board shaped like mickey's head. :lmao: :lmao:

Head cheese of any kind is just naaaaaaaaasty!

Would you settle for Figment with a nice glass of Merlot?

Btw, Lori's Pal Mickey photos were priceless! :lmao:

Love the Figment picture! :rotfl2:

Hi Winkers! Those are great pics, aren't they? For what it's worth I don't think your stuffed friends feel bad - you remember them; you just do it differently, that's all. :goodvibes

But do you pose your stuffed pals with towel animal floozies like Brenda does? But I also have Figment posing with a freshly made tortilla from the Mission tortilla factory (in DCA), so he was able to keep the wine from going to his head. ;)

It sounds like you are going to have a blast Brenda!

I love the title! :rotfl2: You will love the all the pirate themed flower stuff! It's all so beautiful!

Why doesn't anyone believe me when I say that Plankton was on a recruiting mission?;)

You know what I'd like to do...pose Plankton inside the tortilla. :lmao:

Thanks Lindsey! We are really excited about seeing the Flower & Garden Festival - we've never been to WDW in May.

**Wish me luck everyone...I'm drinking barium right now for an abdominal / pelvic CT at 8AM this morning. Sometimes I think I need luck more for getting and keeping the barium down than I do for the test results. ;) **
