Well we are back at home going to try again in the morning. It just got stupid late, Fran and I had a fight and she said she wouldn't go. We ended up going for dinner and I think she was just hungry and cranky.

Let's hope some sleep improves her disposition.

Well, not that much, we were just staying at the Goldstrike in Jean tonight. It would have put us about 1/2 an hour to an hour outside of Vegas tomorrow. Right now if we had left, we would probably still be in LA County or just getting to San Bernardino County, we would have another 2-3 hours still ahead of us and a car full of cranky Fran.

Instead we went to Polly's and I got me a nice Bacon Cheeseburger, and after all the action on the Scrollie and Bacon thread today, I was craving a Bacon Cheeseburger. Good fries and cornbread, so I'm full, at home watching Triple-D with a glass of wine and Fran is already in bed.

We're going to try again around 10-11AM tomorrow. We only took one thing out of the car, so it's all ready to go tomorrow!

Since we didn't use our free night on the way up, that leaves the night on the way back to stay at the Goldstrike.

Oh no. I imagine it was tough to get so much done, pack the car and then deal with traffic.

We didn't even get to traffic. Once we got on the road from our house we had to stop at two places, then the list became three places, then four and then I forgot my overshirt. That's when she said, I could just drive the whole way myself and she would stay home.

By the time I came out of the Post Office (one of the two places), she and Arline had decided to go to dinner instead of directly home.

The best part is that Fran and Arline have both gone to bed and I get to watch "Once Upon a Time"! Fran gets nightmares from this show and I find it completely fascinating! I can only watch it when she is in bed.

It seems if you hang out on the Scrollie and Bacon thread, you end up with a tag, if you want one, I would suggest that you post your baking goodies there. It worked for PIO, but Scotlass didn't post any food porn nor did skiingfast, Angela posted "stuff" of a bacon nature and I'm not sure what focus on disney posted, but somehow they all got tags.

I did too, but I'm not sure if it was my Scrollie & bacon action that got me there since I said the stuff on LTP, but the TF actually sort of "notified" me on the AKL lite Thread.
