Breakfast options in MK?

Hey, so the Plaza and Crystal Palace aren't doing breakfast at present.

Any other good options for MK breakfast?

Would like to stay in the park for convenience. Thanks!

MK doesn't really have a ton of sit down restaurants for breakfast. Sleepy Hollow is a great choice (fruit and Nutella in a waffle esp.) if you don't want to do the Starbucks offerings at the Main Street bakery. Be Our Guest opens at 10am now, but they're doing a lunch instead of breakfast.

Gaston's tavern has that infamous cinnamon roll if that sounds good to you! :)

If you want a sit down breakfast (i.e. table service), 'Ohana is on the monorail line at the Poly and has a pretty good breakfast!

I just read that the pineapple upside down cake with pineapple dole whip is back at Aloha Isle. I speak from experience when I say that that was the most outstanding breakfast!

Thanks for the recommends!

No more breakfast at Be Our Guest? Bleh.

But Cinderella still offers it, yes?

Is that really a breakfast item, though?

The options you’ve received so far, carb & sugar heavy, are not going to work for some… I’m diabetic so they are non starters for me.

The breakfast at CRT is lovely, I think, if expensive but it can be hard to get a reservation. Monorail resorts have been mentioned… I would add Steakhouse 71 at the Contemporary.

I usually make breakfast in the room before I set out for MK. But like you, I wish there were more options for “real” food for breakfast as in the past… when you could choose from the Plaza, BOG or CP.

Yes! We ate at CRT for breakfast on our last trip. We enjoyed it mostly because of seeing Cinderella (who I've heard isn't necessarily making the rounds at tables anymore but is available to M&G beforehand?) and because of our CM server who was wonderful! The food was good - it's prix fixe and one of the only restaurants where you have to pay at the time of making the ADR. I'd keep that part in mind!

Good to know. I've looked at the menu and prices and, while obviously expensive, it's one of those things where you're really "paying for the experience." That said, I would expect at least good food for that pricetag. Glad to hear you enjoyed it.

We don't want to do resorts, as we want to get an early start in the parks, so....it's MK or bust!

Thanks for the info! I heard about the pre-meal meet n' greet, so that's fine. It's two months away, so who knows what could change, but obviously best not to count on it.

Disappointed to hear about the pre-pay. I wanted to treat my companions to this meal on my first day, but they're getting to the park a few days earlier, so I asked them to grab the reservation.

Now I'll feel bad about them having to shell out money up front, even if I immediately reimburse them. Annoying, but what can you do?

Do they still have the breakfast sandwiches at Starbucks? That could also be a quick and easy option.

Yes, they should! I know they added some 50th Anniversary stuff, but last time I was there, they had the standard Starbucks breakfast sandwiches.

Biggest problem I have with Starbucks is not the variety of offerings but the line! Stretching down Main Street I’ve waited well over 1/2 hour just to order in the morning :(

The in park breakfast options are pretty limited. Friar’s Nook has a small breakfast menu. Really haven’t brought back table service breakfast in the parks. Better options in resorts for breakfast like Whispering Canyon at WL, etc.
