My husband and I will be at Pop in a couple of weeks and have the dining plan. We plan on getting breakfast at our hotel in the morning. Adult breakfasts do not appeal to me. Can I order the kids breakfast and still get a soda instead of the included water? We will have refillable cups but I don’t want to go back to the room after breakfast. Or alternatively will they just let me order scrambled eggs and bacon as a meal? The only similar meal includes eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes and potato barrels. I would simply want two scrambled eggs and two pieces of bacon.

TIA

I've ordered just eggs and bacon there before, but I wasn't on the dining plan so I don't know if they'd let you use a meal credit, snack credit, or pay OOP. Will your DH share a platter with you? That's what we usually do when on the dining plan. A platter, shared for breakfast, is one QS credit, and then we'd share something for lunch using another QS credit, then each use our own TS credit at dinner (although you probably have two QS credits, not a QS and a TS credit per day). This was always enough food for us, especially with snack credits to look forward to!

My husband wants his own meal, lol and I want to use my counter service credit as I don’t want to use snack for meals and then have meal credits left and no snack credits.

Sorry duplicate post

My suggestion would be to pay out of pocket for both your and your husband's breakfast.
Its very cheap compared to lunch and dinner.
This way you'll have your 2 QS meals per day for lunch and dinner.
The walking back to the room is one of the reason's I don't find the mugs worth it. (I no longer find the dining plans worth it in general even if free to be honest).
But in your situation if you really want breakfast I'd suck it up and bring the mug and then take it back to the room.
Personally what I do for breakfast is just bring something like a protein bar from home and grab water or a chocolate milk so once I leave the room I don't have to go back nor do I have to lug something uneccessary around.
