Breakfast ADR at Crystal Palace, get me there quick!

Okay, we have 9:35 a.m. ADRs for Crystal Palace for breakfast at MK, the park opens at 9am, we would love to make it for opening ceremony but at the very least want to make it on time for our ADRs. What is the quickest route there and what time should we leave Caribbean Beach where we are staying? We do have a rental car if that will make travel quicker.

MK is the one park that i would use a bus as you have to take boat or monrail from TTC. bus will leave you at the main gate to MK. i would allow an hour to get there in morning maybe a little more because of bag check can be long at pak opening.

I would valet park at the Contemporary and then walk to the Magic Kingdom. It is only around a 5 minute walk, and is really very neat to do.

If you drive, leave CBR by 8:20ish. You will need to park, then take the tram (most likely) over to the TTC itself, then either ferry or monorail to MK.
IF you take the bus, be out at the bus stop by 8:15ish. If you just miss a bus, then you'll still have plenty of time to wait for the next one. The bus will drop you much closer to the park entrance than you would if you drove.

You can park at other resorts as long as you valet park. It is self parking at resorts other than you own that is frowned upon. You do have to pay to valet park. The cost was recently increased, I think it is up to $18 to valet (I'm sure if I'm wrong, someone will come along with the correct rate).

Just take the resort bus to MK. I would be at the bus stop by 8-8:15am.. If you are there right at opening you can probably do a ride or two before your ADR. Not worth driving to MK.

I think the worth in driving yourself is the extra sleep you get. If you drive, you don't have to leave your resort until a little before 9:00. That is almost an extra hour of rest.

the car does not save time in mornings at MK, as you can not park at MK. even if you drive you have to ride either the monrail or ferry boat to get to MK. depending on how you time it, it can take about 20 minutes to get from parking until you get to MK. i would also allow extra time for bag check just before park opening as that line can get long at that time.

Absolutely doable, and just fine. As long as it isn't self parking, you are good to go. The vast majority of guests don't want to pay that addtl charge since they can park free in the theme park lots. But, if you pay to valet park, you can leave the car all day and go wherever you want to go.

Now...there may very well be times that non-resort guests aren't allowed to valet park. But those times are few and far between!!!
