ok! I thinks it's time I responded to the posts!
Joe Cool, you are so right win what you said! I don't how else to put that I agree with you 100%! But that doesn't mean that JuviRex11 doesn't have some good points also! I agree that it is better to be friends, with a person for 10 years that it is to date for 10 months than break up and never talk! BUT! I for one can say that I am still friends with all of my exs but one! One of my exs I've been friends with since we were both in diapers. Me and him decided to try a more personal relationships and it didn't work, but we are still friends. Now I know a lot of ya'll are like "But that must be awkward" well for me it has not been. I know that I can date a guy and still be his friend!
I also, as I said in one of my first posts know how to make a long term relationship work. Ya'll can use that reason that your going off to college in 2 months or whatever, but if you really love someone that won't matter! I went about 7 months with out my love! me and him had that agreement that we date other people and see what happened. Well, what happed was we both missed the other so much that no other relationship worked. So don't try and tell me that you leaving for college in 2 months so you can't have a relationship.
And! as for the comment on love from your parents and friends! That love is a completlly different kind of of love then the kind you get in a relationship with a boyfriend or girlfriend! and you can have both kinds of love! I do!
Ok! One last thing! No one is trashing anyone else! belive me I'm a debater at school,and I know from experience that all the is going on here is "Trashing" of what is said. No one has said that you (who ever you are) is a bad person, or anything else!

alrite, me and matt were going out 4 like 3 months maybe. we hadnt fought once, but then last friday we got in a little bit of a fight. it was fixed by saturday though, and i thought it was a healthy fight and i felt like our relationship was strnger.... i guess not though cuz last nite i told him he sounded like one of my friends and out of nowhere we were in another foght. so i called him and he wouldnt talk. he told me to come online, and i told him that if i had a b/f i wanted 2 at least be able to talk on the phone. so he said maybe i should find another boyfriend. i asked him if he was serious, and he totally changed the subject (i noticed he'd been doin this a lot lately). hez like : "i found out 2 things today: my grandmother is dying of cancer, and im never going 2 play basketball (his dream) ever again cuz im having surgery on my knee." so im like alright i understand u have too much on your find. so what does he do today??? ask my best friend out!!!! excuuuuuse me!!!

Juvi, why do you have to get that defensive? Was I <i>really</i> trashing and condemning? I'm sorry that's what you got out of my reply. I didn't call <i>you</i> a jerk. I didn't call you unloved. I think you confused preconceptions with opinions...but that's just my opinion. What I was saying in my post wasn't directed at you in particular, anyway. So <i>you</i> chill.

Oh, yea, and did I say I was better than anyone? I didn't even say I'm a quote-unquote 'nice guy'. I'm human, so are you. Life is too precious to get bogged down with arguing over P's and Q's.

It's fantastic that you consider yourself such a great friend, and that you do so many things for other people. By the way, no one should ever diss your hard work and what you make your life out to be; as long as you're the hero of your <i>own</i> life, nothing else matters all that much.

Thanks for the great points, and I think that even though this is a Disney site, the online forums were intended for community in the truest sense of the word...

i have been single for a couple of months till i went to islands of adventure. i met a great girl on fire. we totally clicked. she liked coasters. i love coasters. great match. she really thinks i am funny. kinda weird that her and i both love fire and cant stand ice!

That's pretty ironic, because when me and my friend Greg went to Islands of Adventure last year, we met 2 girls in line for Dueling Dragons, and we became really close friends, and they even came up to visit me at Downtown Disney when I went to Orlando in April.

My boyfriend moved back from PA yesterday! I'm sooo very happy! Thing fell though so we couldn't go out today,but I'm going to meet him next week! OH!!! Having him in the same time zone makes this relationship so much easyer!

Ok, I'm going to complain about something that has happened to me all over the DIS. As you can tell, I'm a very confrontive person, and I never back down to any sort of conflict. Whenever I get into some kind of spirited, emotional debate, there are automatically a bunch of people who say "chill" and "calm down". Or a moderator flys into the scene like Batman, and makes sure that no one is harmed, cause lord knows that we don't know better, and the same goes with the "adult" boards. Oh no! It's an argument! Well that can't happen! They can't settle their differences by themselves. Well it's ridiculous.
No one is being hurt, and 9 year old kids can't see stuff like that? I have not swore at all, which is a rarity for me. First of all, 9 year olds shouldn't be on here at all it is called TEEN Disney. So if they do go on here, they know what they're getting into. You become a teen at 13, and this board is alot tamer than any PG-13 movie anyone's seen, and I bet that those kids have all seen PG-13 movies. My brother is 9 and his favorite movie is There's Something About Mary. Tell me a 9 year old hasn't seen Titanic. So don't tell me that a kid will see this and immediately become defiled.
Basically, arguing is not a bad thing, its something that will happen in normal conversation. We don't all have the same opinions. Fortunately, we're not all Disney robots who march through the internet typing "DISNEY IS GOOD. DISNEY IS GREAT. WE ARE ALL DISNEY FRIENDS." Although some of you want us to be like that, because apparantly, its too wild and disorderly to emotionally express your opinion, instead of saying "Yea, I guess you're right!!!!" followed by some stupid smiley face. Bottom line is that I respect Joe Cool more than any of you, because he stood up for what he believed in, instead of avoiding confrontation like the majority of you sheep. I can't sit back like that, I talk and I tell about what I believe in, and give reasons to back it up. You want me to "chill" like all you? Chill this.

One thing not all nine yr. olds are your brother. some stuble into places by axcident like this board. Also little kids lok up to teens and i know that i do not want my sisters who six or any of their friends hearing, reapting or acting like you. unlike adults teens have a way were things get worse then just an agrument. and yes you have swore when you said "Lord" that was using my Gods name in vain and i do not appreciate that. neither do i appreciate u calling people sheep because they do not like what the world is coming to. and trust me you are not helping the world get better you are only making it worse. i am not trying to be rued or mean but i do not appreciate the way you are acting!!!!!!!
