Juvi, you ever been to the debate board? You seen Eros's thread about McVeigh on the CB? Those are real debates and discussions, not crappy little arguments where everyone thinks they're right, with posts ending with the words, 'chill this'.
I'm not getting into this whole 'appropriate age' debate (not sure if that's the right word), but there are things you've said that I wouldn't like my 7yo niece to read, swearing or not.
Regarding the moderators, I think they do a great job. Notice how they haven't said anything about this thread (although they don't really need to), but you still feel the need to insult them. These aren't your boards, the mods have the right to decide what is appropriate, and I think I've only ever seen one thread where I've thought they were over the top.

Fortunately, we're not all Disney robots who march through the internet typing "DISNEY IS GOOD. DISNEY IS GREAT. WE ARE ALL DISNEY FRIENDS."

Hmmmm.......You ask for a debate, and then you go along to insult (nearly) everyone on the boards. I don't think your tactics are all that great. What's this trying do to/prove? I just don't understand what you're trying to do apart from stir up more trouble.

Again, not sure what this is trying to do apart from stir up trouble. So we're sheep, because we told you to shut up (in the nicest possible way of course, we are all Disney friends, after all).
Overall, I think I'd rather be a sheep than someone like you (I'd like to elaborate, but you know, I still think that these are Disney boards, and we should keep it clean.)

Hey you guys!! sorry to "bust in and tell everyone to chill" but what are we fighting over?? geez theres nothing wrong with this thread and i dunno why everyones sooo worked up about a comment if a 9 year old could read this or not. Ive been reading all the posts on here and none of them are rude. this is just a thread for advice about dating and to tell about relationships...nothing rude there. And also, isnt a 9 year old (or any aged kid) going to be dating at some point in their life? and this is a public posting site...anyone could come on here and read this stuff...any age. we really need to quit focusing on this junk and let this post stay clean and GOOD. and no, im not an adult or a 9 year old telling you this...im 13 also and i AM a teenager on TEENdisney...ok?? so please lets just quit the arguments and get on wit posting...this is a good thread...lets keep it that way

as much as i would love to get started in this, as i have many things i would love to say, i will try to go back to the original topic of this thread which was b/fs and g/fs.....

so anyways, if any of you read about matt, then i have part 2.... my best friend said no being the good friend that she is and i now realize that i am totally over him and what a jerk he was being when i was going out with him (i have my resources ) so now there is danny who is a sixth grader, going into seventh, and he is really sweet and he likes me a lot. i don't really know him, but apparently some sixth graders of my soccer team have generousl handed over information to him and he calls me a lot to talk and his friend just asked me out for him... do you think i should say yes??? i don't really know him... he sounds real nice, he's smart, and my friends say he has a sense of humor... plus he's hot... that always helps

what do you think i should do??

I think you should say yes cuz dating is all about getting to know different people and what traits you like in certain people. If it doesnt work out then you'll remember what you didnt like about him for the next guy. And if it does work out then it will be worth while that you said yes!

I went out wit someone who asked me out just to see if i liked him or not. he was nice but i didnt really know him that well before we went out. turned out that it didnt work out and we broke up, but i did learn a lot more about what i liked and disliked in guys. it'll be worth while either way if you say yes.

First of all, you want me to go to a debate board, where they "debate for real"? I was on my school's debate team for 4 years, and each debate I ended with the words "something this". It became my trademark around Central New York. I am going on a full scholarship to Niagara University because of my success on the debate team. I had a front page article in the Syracuse Herald-Journal, and the headline said "Ganley this!" Item of note: Ganley's my last name. So obviously that quote is not all that bad. Next....
These aren't my boards, these aren't the mods' boards either, these are......that guy's boards. I forgot his name. But it doesn't matter. What matters is that the Teen Disney board's mods are ok. I'll give them credit, even though a board like this where there is a spirited debate is rare, and once I made a harmless joke and they got all freaked out. Unfortunately, I have encountered many mods, where in this exact situation, they have freaked out and gone off on power trips on me. Mods dont do much but moniter their boards, so alot of them love to get the chance to flex their power. And you're not going to agree with me on that one, obviously. And besides, I dont think the moderators are going to shut this down, they're probably enjoying it as much as all of you. Next........

My infamous sheep quote. I knew that would work people into a tizzy, because that was its goal. What I meant by a sheep is the people that shy away from a confrontation. All I need is this recent quote to prove that alot of you are sheep:

I could put in a bunch more, but that sums it up. Also, after I called you sheep, I got a lot of replies focusing on that, proving you're not sheep. It took me insulting you to prove that you can add to this debate.

Sure sounds like an insult to me.
Onto the age debate. 9 year old kids can read. They see Teen Disney, theyre not stupid, if they go here they know they're out of their element. Second, if a parent lets their 9 year old go on the computer unmonitered, then they've probably let their kid see much worse than this board. And the kid will probably stumble onto something much worse. Type in "mummies" into the Yahoo search engine and you'll know what I mean.
I'm anti-religion, and saying Lord didn't refer to God, it refered to.....I don't know, a lord in medivel times. Just because it had some kind of connotation with religion doesn't mean that it was religious.
And I'm making the world worse? I was not aware that my controversial posts to the Teen Disney forum were having a direct effect on the workings of the world. And because of my attitude and the like-minded attitude of people with my same views the world is going down?Every era thinks their era is deteriorating, its a fact. You name an era you think was the best, and Ill tell you the negatives about it. There will always be problems in the world. I can guarantee you that nothing I wrote in my posts are anything implying the negativity of the world. If they are, go ahead and point them out.
Not that speaking out and having unbiased opinions is a negative. You're right, this is a public board, and 1st amendment rights apply to anything public. Would you rather live in a place and time when people could only say what was socially acceptable and good? Because there was such a place. It was called Nazi Germany. I've said it before in my debates, and I'll say it again: Censor this.

Wow. Uhh, since I'm going to be above insults for once, I'm just going to say I'm speechless. I think everyone else saw the point I was making with Nazi Germany. And if God is all-knowing, then why did he place the apple tree there if he knew Adam and Eve would eat the apple? Besides, evolution has already disproved Adam and Eve.

Oh please. That is the worst excuse I've ever heard. 'lord knows' is a phrase refeing to God, and whether you believe in him or not, its offensive and blasphemous (sp?).
Comparing these boards to Nazi Germany offends me. More than 6million people died under Hitler's power, and what's happening here? People are telling you to chill. Not quite the same thing.
Evolution hasn't disproved anything, its a theory, just like God creating the world. You believe one, poohbaby believes another, what's the problem?
