Hi, what is the bounce back discount. Someone had mentioned it me. WE stayed at the pop last year. We would like to go back June of 2009. But does any one know of the bounce back and what it is????:laundy:

The Bounce Back offer is only good if you book while you are there, before you check out, for the next year. You have to put down your $200 deposit at the time of booking.

The current Bounce Back Offer is for 8/23/2009 to 10/1/2009 and
10/2/2009 to 10/8/2008 ONLY. The offer is for free dining . You will pay rack rate for the room, must purchase as least one base ticket for all parties.
My quote was for All Star Sports for 9/10/2009 to 9/14/2009 $532.70..
This was for a standard room for 4 nights for two adults, 1 base ticket each, and no insurance.

This offer must be booked from your Disney Hotel Room X8844, and must be booked by October 24, 2008..

So which would be a better discount, bounce back discount or AAA?

I'm pretty sure it would depend on when/where you are staying. If you choose a value resort in value season, then the Free Dining would likely be the better discount. If you are staying in a deluxe, AAA might be the better deal. I believe with AAA you can expect about 10% off rack rate. I'm sure someone will confirm to correct that percentage.

Thanks for the info. We always stay at a value resort and we try to do the free dinning. I usualy book through AAA. We are giong back in Aug. 2009 so I hope that the offer is still being given then.

I think its 15% or at least that's what I got on a deluxe but I'm going in value season so it may be less during the peak season.

Doesnt matter where you stay, calculate how much youll be saving with the free dining. If you have 2 adults and 2 teenagers for example and youre staying 7 nights thats a savings of $1120.

Actually, if you are staying at a deluxe the bounce back is 30%. It goes 10% for value, 20% for mod, 30% for deluxe and 40% FOR VILLAS.

The bounceback offer for the deluxe is probably better than any discount you can get.

Is that the standard bounceback offer? Also, are there blackout dates for the bounceback offer? I've never even looked into bounceback because it's usually about 18 months between our trips, but we are going in October and contemplating a mid-June trip for our 10th anniversary.

Yes, there are blackout dates. When you get to your room, there usually the offer, it looks like a stopwatch. It has a calendar on the back and those are the eligible dates
