booking through a travel agent

My dad is a travel agent so he will be booking our trip. Does that mean he will have to take care of all of our room requests or will I be able to call WDW directly to make any changes?

I'm guessing everything can still be linked to MDE and I'll still be able to do all of our ADR and FP+ reservations.

Is there anything else I need to be aware of that I'll "lose control" over by booking through an agent?

The TA owns the reservation until you check in. Disney will not talk to you about the reservation directly or allow you to make any changes, he will have to do it. He will have to give you the Disney reservation # to link MDE, I think.

Thanks. It shouldn't be a problem since I can just call him whenever. As long as I can link to MDE I'm happy.
