Booking Excursions Online - Items gone on first day?

Has anyone else noticed that many items are gone from the website very quickly? We are staying on the concierge level so were able to book early and I found very quickly that items such as the dolphin encounter and parasailing were gone almost immediately? I checked on the fist day that we could sign up (105 days) I even called to check and they confirmed. I tried later when the next group could book to see if some things were being held back but with the same results.

It would suprise me that concierge level could take many activities all to themselves. Is there a possibility that a large group (corporare outing) could have swallowed up much of the good stuff? Has anyone ever sailed with a large group reserving much of the boat?

I do not think it is unusual to have the excursions you mentioned sold out quickly. I have not cruised conceirge but I have been warned that the excursions you mentioned do go quickly. We have never had a problem though making any reservation with or without the new on-line system. My DH parasailed on CC and he did not book until the day before on the cruise. Have to say though we did not know until then if we would be able to dock at CC. The dolphin exursion has always sold out quickly.

I thinkg sometimes they will release more spots for certain tours. For example, the dolphin one was sold out at first, and then about a month or so later it came back. Maybe they wait until they fill out one group, and then release another one? Probably not always, but I'd keep checking back on-line. Lisa

Also,

I think once you've booked an excursion, other excursions for the same time are not shown anymore for booking by you. I only noticed this because I have my and my sister's reservations I was trying to book excursions for and an excursion was listed for her and not me, but I'd already booked an excursion at the same time.
