Booking/banking current UY question

How's that for a title? LOL

Her'es my question. I am planning to book a 2 bedroom at SS for the end of September. My UY is September and I still have my 2005 points available. So, would I book that trip with the 2005 points or do I bank those and use the 2006 points.

I'm so confused! LOL

Use year starts on the first of the month. Your 2005 points expire on 9/1/2006. The last night they can be used for a reservation is 8/31/2005 (unless they are banked).

If you want to use 2005 use year points for a September 2006 trip, you need to bank the 2005 points. Then they will be good for stays between 9/1/2006 and 8/31/2007.

P.S. If you have no plans to use your remaining 2005 points, my advice is to bank them and make sure MS uses the banked points up before they start using the 2006 points.

Thanks for the reply, it is what I thought.

I bought my points with the F&F promotion so there is an extended deadline for banking the points.
I'll call today and bank them. Thanks for the answer!
