Booking and Discounts Question

If I book a room now for next April (to make sure I have a room in a hotel I am hoping for) and after I book an offer comes up (bounceback offer - lets say I'm there in October of this year) Can I apply the bb offer to the reservation I've already made? Or do I have to make a whole new reservation to get an offer? How does it work?

A bounceback offer must be booked as a new reservation while you are currently staying at a WDW resort. So if one is offered, you would have to rebook and deposit your room before you check out and cancel your existing reservation.
