Booking ADR question

Our trip is may 1-may 5. On the Disney experience website it says to make reservations starting March 2 but don't I get to book 65 days early since I'm staying for 5 days so it would be earlier? Is that like a secret thing to know or do I just book when the website says to book? I'm very confused.

It's 60 days from the start of your trip and then you can make reservations for the next (potentially) 10 days of your stay.

The 60+5 means that at 60 days out from your check-in date, you can book ADRs for the five days of your stay.

Lots of people misunderstand that to mean they can start booking at 65 days out from their arrival date.

A hint: Any restaurants you know to be very popular such as Be Our Guest, Topolino's or Space 220, head to the last days of your stay immediately your window opens. You'll have a better chance (but only a chance) of getting one of those if you do that. Most start at the first days of their stay, so doing it backwards may give you an edge.

There are many 60-day calendars you can find that will tell you exactly the day you can start booking based on your check-in date. I find those very helpful!

My resort reservation starts Apr. 30 but can‘t book dining until Mar. 1. Maybe due to Feb. having only 28 days?
