Booked thru Expedia

Yes.

There are still oodles of sob stories about hassles and problems using on-line middlemen including the big names to book travel.

It appears to me that the primary reason is that the commissions are small and any adjustments including airline schedule changes mean more work for the agent with no added compensation.

You would have a little more safety if the terms and conditions make the contract with you as taking place in your state and that any dispute needing a fourth party to resolve would be resolved in the city in your state nearest you.

concerned about what? Don't understand the question and if you have already booked isn't it a bit late to ask ?

I have used Expedia many times without problems.

Expedia just laid off a bunch of people in their Tacoma call center, and will be closing it. As I posted the other day as a "head's up". :)

I would probably expect some nervous customer service reps, if you need to call, but if they did this pre-emptively to try to lower their costs, rather than a last ditch "ack!" freakout, I wouldn't worry about them closing entirely. Of course...no way to know which one it is... I mean...they ended some Tacomans' employement entirely the other day, sending them home and collecting badges on their way out the door...which kinda sucks. (on the other hand, the people that amazon did that exact thing to in '01...for the most part of the people I know of...kind of deserved it...everyone else got to stick around for a few more months before the call center closed)
