Booked my Flights, now what?

Ok, disclaimer: I haven't flown in nearly 20 years and went through at TA that time.
DH and I are going to Orlando in Sept to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary.
I just purchased our flights with Southwest this morning and printed off our confirmation sheet. What happens next?
Will we get a link closer to the date to print off our boarding passes? I feel like such a virgin here!

Did you add Early Bird Check In? If you did, Southwest will automatically check you in 36 hours before your flight. You can then go to the SW site anytime within 24 hours of your flight & print your boarding passes. If you didn't do Early Bird, you will want to be online & ready to check yourselves in at the 24 hour mark before your fights. The sooner you check in, the better your boarding position.

Southwest doesn't send you a link to check in or print your boarding pass. Just go to the SW site & look for the check in spot. All you need to check in is your confirmation number & last name. It is very easy to do.

If you did Early Bird Chrck In, you still go thru the check in spot on The SW website in order to print your boarding passes. It is very easy & the process is clear as you go thru it.

And check the website every so often, and if there is a price drop, change to that lower fare, and then you have credit toward other flights within a year of first making your fare purchase. Nothing else to do until you check in online at 24 hours before your flight, or you buy early bird.

After you check in online or via early bird, you are checked in, you can go into your reservation and print out boarding passes or print them at the airport when you arrive or show your phone that has the boarding pass shown on it.
