Booked a resort now having issues getting to “ start check in”

I hit start check in and it keeps bringing me to sign in again and again. Yes, I refreshed and even shut it down my iPad and my husband signed in on his
laptop same issues. What can I do to fix this? don’t want to call member services because their wait times are crazy!!

Are you trying to do this from the DVC site or from the MDE? You have to add the reservation to MDE prior to doing the check in.

Wait times are no longer crazy to call Member Services. At least the reports on this board indicate they are not.

Or, try the chat feature on the DVC site.

That may be faster. It's been our experience when the phone wait was lengthy.

I NEVER can check in via DVC site. I have numerous reservations and always have to to check In via MDR.

Just an fyi, there are now very few request options available so you will not be able to be specific.
If you want that, DVC should be called. CHAT has put in extra requests’ for me many times but still used MDE to actually check in.

I don't try from the DVC site as it's never worked for me. I copy the reservation number and then go into MDE and link it there.

Same here. Book DVC reservation, open MDE, link reservation to MDE with DVC confirmation number, then checkin via MDE.

That happened to me once and it got me so frustrated! Rather than talk to anyone and risk getting even more upset, I just gave up and tried again the next day. I think I had to be sure I was linked, but then everything went fine. Many times I've had incredible problems, and just waiting and trying again the next day, makes things work OK.
