I have an old tablet with the Kindle app. I load it up with free books in several genres and take it when traveling. That way I have a wide variety of books at my disposal. I prefer light-hearted books on vacation but the occasional non-fiction is nice too.

I also love Diana Gabaldon, John Grisham and Stephen King but I read a lot of free Prime books especially on vacation!

I'm working my way through the Kristin Hannah books and will bring another on my upcoming cruise. The Great Alone is a particular favorite. I have always loved the Sherlock Holmes stories too and not many people I know have read them. I have the collection broken into two books but each story doesn't take long to read. Lastly, I always recommend the Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. Can you tell I like historical fiction?

I am on a WWll historical fiction kick right now. I also enjoy comedy mysteries & just finished several Kristin Hannah books.
