Book free dining pkg. online at midnight?

I've read that some were able to book their free dining pkg. online with Disney last year - does anyone know if this is something that can be done at midnight Wed. ? (well, actually that would be Thurs. ) I'm concerned about the crazy hold times Thurs. am and trying to get kids off to school etc. Realize I may be grasping at straws but I'm feeling the panic

Well no not yet since it is only for Disney Visa.
I would be curious to know when the add was up last year i.e as OP mentioned would they be able to on-line at 12:01am on Thursday and book??

I don't know this for sure, but I would think the promotion would become available to the general public all at the same time - 7am EDT Thursday.

The graphic has been there since last weekend. I don't know if the link for it actually works or not. Haven't tried it since I already have a package booked. But I do know that only the Disney VISA card holders are able to book free dining right now. It is my understanding that they have until Thursday exclusively, and then it becomes available to the general public. I don't know what time. Nobody has copied me on the memo for that. But I would assume it would be 7am EDT when the CRO opens. I don't see how it would be fair for them to do it any other way. But, they're Disney and they can do what they want.

If the link works before that and you can go online and book your trip with free dining - Great! Good for you. Let us know how that works out. But I doubt it unless you have a Disney VISA card. Just try it out at midnight and be sure to come back here and post your results

Two years ago I booked the FDP online, but I'm sure it was at least a few days after the promo started...

Regardless I will be here at midnight to see what's going on!

Just because there's an ad doesn't necessarily mean that it would be able to be booked online. That ad has been up for several days now and so far, nothing can be booked online for this promotion. Clicking on it simply takes you to a blank page. Right now it's a wait and see.

And just an FYI - you have the logo graphic appearing on your post 4 times as well as a very large photo of a Mickey room. You might want to edit your post.

We booked last year on line. We booked about 1 week after free dining was announced and had no problem. If I remember correctly, I had to follow a link from Disney World's homepage.

I just used the 407 number (407 W Disney).
The 800 number is 800-828-0228

Last year there was a link on the main Disney web Page (It was small, at the bottom of the page if I remember correctly) but they did not have that link up until a few week after it was released to the general public. This lead me to believe that they needed to fill up more rooms.

Through this link ONLY were you able to get the free dining without calling. It had the code there if you wanted to call but all you had to do was select book online now and you put in your date and resort and dining was added automatically without an extra charge (i.e Free Dining).

Maybe they will do it sooner this year.....who knows

Guess it was wishful thinking to book online at 12:01 a.m. - in my perfect world, I would be able to book online then, get my 1st choice resort, the dates I need and be in bed asleep by 12:05 I think the worst of it is the anticipation- what if they don't have the resort I want, the dates, etc. - I'm trying to have a Plan "A", Plan "B", "C" etc. Thinking I at least won't have any trouble getting up Thurs. a.m. as I probably will never go to sleep because of the stress of it all - and I thought getting a ressie to Cinderella's Royal table was stressful
