I went with Bloodsucking Fiends by Christopher Moore and Breathers: A Zombies Lament. We don't have a library that I know of here so I just bought the pair on amazon. I am sure I can swap them on paperbackswap or another site at some point right?

Enigma by Robert Harris. Fatherland by the same author is a good read too.

I love to read, DH not so much, and he couldn't put The Da Vinci code down (neither could I).

I highly recommend books by SM Stirling, specifically Conquistador and these trilogies (they are related)

Also Ken Follett has some good WWII fiction supposedly (I'm not a fan of the genre). And James Rollins' books are good suspense thrillers (start with Sandstorm).

Oh and ditto the Christopher Moore books. He's excellent. And if you like those, check out Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett

Well if you remember, you'll have to update us with how you liked them. I haven't read Bloodsucking Fiends yet, after I get through my current stack of books I might have to pick that one up!

Neil Gaiman actually wrote a book with Pratchett called "Good Omens".
