Boo to you & AKV too!! **11/18**52 days to go, freaking out, a bag & next year!**

The shooting was soo scary! The story has changed quite a bit since it happened. The guy shot from his backyard next to the school grounds. He says he was cleaning his mothers 22 caliber rifle and it acidently went off. But, my understanding of it from my Dad, who is sort of an amateur weapons expert, says that's impossible. You can't clean a gun like that loaded. So he was either taking target practice in the yard at something or is a real wacko and fired at the school on purpose. Originally they said the bullet went through the screen of the open window. It turns out it broke a closed window and if it hadn't been for the window slowing the bullet down the girl that got hit would have been seriously hurt or worse. The guy is in jail and is facing all sorts of interesting charges and their looking to nail him for anything they can! It should be interesting!

I still can't get over that it snowed!!! UGH and YUCK! Like I said in your TR, no way I could do that!!!

I hope the real story comes out...what a horrible situation for your entire town. Very scary....

So crazy!!! I actually forgot that yesterday was Thursday and the local, once a week paper came out. I'm wondering what the story on it said!

CRAZY!! We had a really weird a crazy summer too. I never really got hot I just hope we don't have a super cold winter!!

13 days!!! I've decided that I will NOT stress about anything! It's not worth it! This should be a time of excitement leading up to the trip, not stress! Tomorrow will be DS's costume, Sunday will be finishing the stuff for the shower and starting to pack! DD is dying to help me pack! Hopefully I won't go back on my promise to myself and become a raving loon in a week and a half!

The kids are super excited, DD keeps reminding me of all the things she wants to do and asking "Mommy, where will we be in..." Everytime DS2 hears mention of it he says "Momma! I go! I go!!"

Today I made a small change

A wee bit late in the game but a change that I'm very happy with and excited about!

I've been checking the dining website off and on for a few weeks to see if anything is available at Crystal Palace for anytime that will fit into our schedule without making a massive change or cancelling something else we really want to do!

I had just about given up but this morning I read brookelizabeth's update about CP with all the adorable pictures of her little boy, Henry, enjoying the characters and a yummy b-day cupcake at CP.

I decided to try for CP one more time!!

SCORE!! We're going to CP for a late lunch/early dinner at 3:20 on the day we arrive!!

I think that will work out super well!! We'll be tired from getting up really early in the morning and probably have eaten airport food for breakfast. I think a yummy disney buffet will be a great pick me up!! Not to mention jumping right in with some of our favorite characters!!

Then we'll stay in MK until around 7 when we have to leave because of MNSSHP!

I did have to cancel the 5:10 Ohana reservation we had. I had been looking forward to Ohana.

But CP is closed in January and Pooh trumps the Poly in my book I can't wait to see Ryan at CP he adores Pooh to no end!! I know this meal will involve a lot of "Momma! Pooh!! Momma! Pooh!!" It makes me happy and brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it (yes, I'm a huge sap!)

I have to thank Brook for her CP update this morning! I think it gave me good disney karma!! ​

Hurray for Crystal Palace! I haven't been to Ohana for dinner but I've seen the amount of food involved and I agree with eandesmom.... that did sound like it could be a bit tiring. I got such a big smile on my face reading "Momma! Pooh!" SO exciting! Yay!

Getting that CP ADR was super good luck!! I'm so excited I got it!! The only time we haven't had a meal there was in March when it was just DH and I. Even then I kinda missed it! But the only character meal we had was Chef Mickey's!

Goodness me! Today is going to busy day!! There maybe a trip to the Dr amongst the things to do to!! Johnny had a fever at bedtime last night. That's 6 straight days with a fever and I'm not ok with even if it's low. Ryan sounds like barking seal! UGH! I hate when the kiddos are sick! It breaks my heart!!! I hate to see them not their happy-selves!!!

So sorry to hear your kids are all sick! That stinks. Last week I was sitting in the medical aide unit with my son and his infected toe, and this was this poor little girl who kept barking/coughin/barking. Ugghhhh it was so awful. My younger son had croup for many years so I know how heart breaking it is when they are sick like that.

Wishing everyone a speedy recovery. I just know everyone is going to be healthy for you upcoming trip!

I'm so excited about CP!! Your right, someones going to call up dining or go onto the website and be sooo happy to get that Ohana ADR!!

I took them to the walk-in doctor today. Usually I'm a little leary about places like that but DH and I have been there and the doctor is great!!

With the coughs the boys have I thought he was going to say bronchitis. But he didn't.

They both have double ear infections! Crazy!! Johnny(DS6) says his ears don't hurt and Ryan(DS2) hasn't been pulling on his ears or anything. The Dr actually showed me in the scope thingy. Their ears where nice and pink like you'd expect and then had a spot of BRIGHT red!

I glad it wasn't in their lungs! That scares me! DS6 used to get croup too several times a winter until about 2 years ago. I was terrible!!! Poor baby!!

So now their both on antibotics.

I'm happy to have a diagnosis and treatment and know they'll be better by the 29th!

We've done sick at WDW and it's no fun!! It's also very expensive!!

Hope the kids are feeling better! But better to have the fever now than in 12 days time!!

I'm so glad I took them to the dr today!! With the medicine they'll be on their way to recovery soon!!! I keep thinking that at least it's this week and not next week!!

CP is a lot of fun!!!! It's one of those experiences that is way more about the experience then the actual food!! I really can't wait!

I can see being freaked by costumed piglet. I really can. But, he's not that bad! He still has a way of coming across as small, cute and timid!

I suppose anything is possible!!! I would like our scifi dine in adr to be a little earlier on the 2nd but I'm ok with leaving it
