Oh. My. Gosh. That is scary, scary stuff. You're poor Dad!
On a happier note ---- what a fantastic cake! I have a friend due at the beginning of November and she would LOVE that. I like your autograph heads

... what are they made from?
Going back to read your ADR list.....
It really was scary! Crazy stuff! My dad

I don't even think he said hello before he asked if everyone was ok!
Thanks about the diaper cake!! It really wasn't hard to make, just time consuming! I'm glad it's done though! Now it's on to the favors...
The autograph books are from diecuts from my cricut! I punched holes in them, put the book ring on and then embellished them! I'm thinking of doing something similar for january but I'll have make 6, that might be really time consuming!
Your plans look great! Don't stress too much about ADRs. Everything will work out how it is supposed too!
Thanks LL!! I'm trying not to stress about the ADR's. What it is it is, right? There are so many good restaurants in WDW we'll find something if we don't get what we want!
Your plans do look great for January, and i like the diaper cake. i'm not sure what's up with the tickers; i wonder if it has something to do with the upcoming time change?
Thanks Sare!!! Stupid ticker! It fixed itself today
Yikes! Very scary. Your poor dad.
Your Jan plans look great and
3 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was very scary! My Dad is so sweet and cute

He adores his grandkids and it scared him half to death to think that something may have happened to one of them!!
Thanks! Now I just have to get up Sunday morning to make the reservations!! fingers crossed I get everything! But, if I don't I'll find something good!!
What a horrible incident, but good to hear that nobody was hurt!!
Your plans sound great! I can absolutely understand your ADR anxiety! I am in the same boat!

I think being prepared to call at 7 am would be the best. Make sure to call exactly at 7 am (there is this advise of using an atomic clock on the internet to see when it is 7 am and then dial the last digit of the phone number). I have been checking my restaurants for the last days online for early January and I am seeing much more availability for dining than for December. I think the lack of a free dining promotion really helps us!
Also, have you considered if you don't get one table for 10 to book two tables, one for each family? You could then always request to be seated close to each other. I think I have read someone once reporting that they had done that and that they were pleasantly surprised that they actually got one table for all.
I saw a notice on another site that DHS hours for late October have been extended and new Fantasmics have been added. I am not sure wether this would affect your trip, but might be worth checking out.
And I love the picture countdown!
Thanks Floss!! I figured I get up at like 6:30 sunday morning, get some coffee going and try to wake up before I call!
I knew we could get separate table but hadn't thought about requesting it if we couldn't get a seating together! Good idea!! Thanks!! When we went with DH's parent, his sister and her husband in 08 we ended up with 2 different tables at Hollywood and Vine and 50's Primetime and it was fine. We were right next to each other!
Here's hoping today will be an ordinary, peaceful day in your town.
The autograph books are very cute! We're trying to think of some other ideas rather than the traditional autograph books this time, too.
I agree - Chef Mickey's with the nieces and nephews will be great!
Everything seems to be back to normal, know on wood!
I made the autograph books with die cuts from my cricut! Maybe you could have the characters autograph cards and use them and the pictures in your next disney collage! I've thought about doing a strictly autographs scrapbook at some point.
Chef Mickey's is the only ADR I'll be bummed if I don't get! Fingers crossed!!
Scary stuff.....That shooting! What's so scary is that it can happen anywhere at anytime. I am just glad that a horrible situation did not turn into something far worse.
As far as your plans.....WOW.....Three weeks!!!!!!! Are you jumping out of your skin? Wait.....don't answer that. I think I already know the answer.
I wish I could see your autograph books. Kudos to you for making them!
I think your ADR's sound great. You have such a nice, long January trip planned. I'd be a little nervous about taking 6 kids to T-Rex, too. Good luck with that! I'm sure it will be fine!
OK, going back to read again to see if I missed anything!
The shooting was super scary! Crazy stuff! Luckily no one got seriously hurt!
I definitely am starting to jump out of skin a bit! I know I have a ton of stuff to do between now and then too!
DH and I will be fine with all 6 kids, I think. My sisters kids are older. 16, 13 and 11. If they were the same age as mine I wouldn't even attempt it! We'd send my sister and her DH on their way and lock ourselves in the room with a pizza and DVD! But with them being old I tihnk all will be well! My niece, the one whose 13, is very mature and responsible! I know she'll be more like a 3rd adult then a kid.
