Heading Home and A Warning!

After breakfast at the resort I called for my car to be brought around. I checked out at around 10am. Went to the Belz Outlets to waste a couple hours until my flight.
Returned the rental car at 12:30. My flight didn't leave until 3pm but since I had no room left in my luggage to buy anything I might as well leave the outlets and wait at the airport.
The flight was on time loading but a delay occured after we were on board. Apparently a hydraulic fluid leak was spotted somewhere and maintenance had to check it out. The pilot said it was probably a loose fitting and that is what it proved to be. It delayed us about 1/2 hour but we made up most of that time in the air. The rest of the flight was uneventful.

Now for the warning:
When my hubby joined me in Florida he brought my birthday gift with him. It was a gift card for a jewelry store. I put it in my suitcase (stupid thing to do) and checked it before I left the hotel. When I got home, my card was no longer in my suitcase and some other items were out of place. I can only conclude that some baggage handler made off with it. I emailed USAirways and told them about it, told them that I could not prove anything but it sure is scarey to think that if somebody could go through your things and take something out, then somebody could also PUT SOMETHING IN!
They replied that someone would contact me about my "claim" but I haven't heard anything more from them and don't expect to.

Happy Ending:
My husband kept the receipt for the gift card with the numbers on it and the jewelry store stopped payment on the old card AND gave me a new card!! I really didn't expect them to do that since it was my own stupidity that led to the theft. I only wanted to make sure that some slob didn't get to use my card. They told me that they don't usually do that but they did in my case and I'm extremely grateful.

Conclusion:
Had a great trip, didn't want to come home even though I was worn out.
Learned that it isn't a wasted effort to photocopy your park passes.
Staying onsite at Universal is definately worth it.
I need to buy locks for my luggage.

Thanks for reading.
