That makes things even more difficult. There is no shortage of Ethiopian options near me, and I have yet to find one I like. But, if the cuisine is more South African, with a greater meld of inspirations (Dutch, Indian) things may work out better. From what I understand Boma is more authentic African. If you have picky eaters, I would do Tusker House. My boyfriend is a very picky eater and Tusker House was his favorite restaurant.
Resurrecting this thread as it presents the same question I have.
Faced with two reservation options, Tusker or Boma, both with availability right after closing, which is a better option. To make the options even more difficult, what if you could choose between a regular closing day (5pm) and an EEMH day?
Oh, and you aren't staying at AKL.

Tusker House is great for breakfast, but I wouldn't go there for anything else.
