Boardwalk villas - keep the room with a split stay studio and two-bedroom?

We will be going to BWV in April, doing one night in a P/G studio for one night then moving into a two-bedroom P/G for two nights when the rest of the family arrives.
Is it worth it to call member services and put in a request for a continuous reservation, or is there no chance that they could do that?
Obviously I know there is no guarantee but I was wondering if anyone has experienced this before?
It would be amazing to be able to leave our luggage in the room on the moving day!
Thanks!

I don’t think it would hurt to chat/email/call MS and have the continuing stay note put on both reservations, so that the room assigners know and can try to keep you in the same villa. Otherwise it’s unlikely to happen if you leave it to chance.

FYI if you’re planning to move yourselves from the studio bed to the primary bedroom of the 2BR villa, you might have to ask housekeeping to change the sheets in the studio - I’m not sure whether the studio would get a checkout cleaning that day, if you’re not checking out!

One issue might be that many of the pool/garden studios are dedicated.
