Not sure if this is the right forum for this, but-- I'm staying off site, and thought I might spend an evening at the Boardwalk, maybe go to Jellyrolls for a bit, wander around, etc. I'm just wondering if I can park at one of the Boardwalk hotels, or if there is a parking lot somewhere nearby I should use. TIA for any info.

There is a parking lot on the other side of Epcot Resort Blvd. (Behind Hess), across from the auxillary entrance to the Boardwalk, which has had its gates open for some time now. I do not know if it was always open or if it became this way after PI closed.

When my daughter goes to Jelly Rolls she valet parks - otherwise the parking is down the hill and across the street and she doesn't feel comfortable going down there after Jelly Rolls closes.

Thanks! Since I'll be solo, it sounds like the valet parking is the way to go. Is it available from all of the hotels, or is one better than the others?

They also have another parking lot for guests not staying there that is to the left of the guard shack, which is where my family and I were told to park when we went there to look around.

She parks right at the one at the Boardwalk so she is right there when she is ready to leave...otherwise you would have to walk across the lake to Y&B. That doesn' make sense. And yes all of the Deluxe hotels have valet parking.

CR Resort Fan is correct. When you enter at the guard shack there is a parking lot for visitors immediately to your left. It's free. Then it's a 5-minute trek up to the Boardwalk Resort building and down the stairs to the boardwalk itself.

The parking lot behind the Hess station is only for use at peak times and I've only been sent back there one....last year on New Years Eve.

A few years ago on New Years Eve was the only time my family and I were told to park at the lot behind the Hess station, so you are correct about it being used during peak times only.

Just got back from BWV - with the elimination of free valet for DVC members, the self park lots are both very full from about noon on. It was very common on my trip for guests staying at the resort to park across Epcot Resorts Blvd. I would prepare to park a good 10 minute walk from Jellyrolls if you choose not to valet.

Thanks for the real-time info! Looks like I'll be using the valet. Don't really want to be wandering around a parking lot alone after dark (even at Disney).

When I was an AP holder I would always park at the Boardwalk Resort in self parking. Only at peak times did I have to use the lot behind the Hess station but that really isn't that much further.

I can only assume that the self park lot is used more now that Valet isn't free for DVC but I am not sure what percentage of BW is DVC and what percent is not on any given day. I was usually there at least an hour before Epcot opened because I used to sit by the lake and have some coffee and a bagel before heading into Epcot or walking over to DHS next to the waterway.
