Boardwalk Location Question

Do you happen to know any room numbers? I'd totally take that too!

I was in 5004 which is a 1BR but there are 2 studios right next to it. This was the daytime view. I did watch a few fireworks from there but didn't take any pictures:

High floors rooms like 5032 that face towards the main pool will also face towards DHS as will several of the rooms looking towards the quiet pool. You want to request a high floor though so you don't end up with trees blocking the view. Here's a link to Touringplans room view locator where you can take a look at some other views.

It's an interactive map so just click on the building and then select a floor. Then you'll be able to select a room and usually there are pictures from that room or from ones close by.

We are headed back to BWV for 4 weeks in June/July. Last time there we had 4th floor rooms overlooking main pool and had fantastic views of HS fireworks

Wow what an awesome link. I'm going to use that to request our rooms for this year

There are pool/garden view rooms that face toward DHS and see many of their fireworks.

Thank you! I've used Touring Plans room request twice and it was perfect. Some of the rooms didn't have pictures for BWV so I thought I'd ask here too. Thanks so much!

We'll be at BWV for the first time later this year in a 1 Br Preferred/Garden View most likely. Following.... Love the view above and something like 5095 on Touringplans view.

Did you like this room location? I want a view of the Tower of Terror, which is my son's favorite ride! Are there stairs on that side of the building to walk out towards the Swan or do you have to walk down to the elevators? I know their are great views from the Lunar Pool but concerned about noise since the parks close early.

Yes I did like it! There are stairs right there which is in part why I requested that area as I was attending a convention at the Swan/Dolphin.

Did you find it was far from the bus stop or walking to HS and Epcot? I am considering a quiet pool room#5089 or this one which both have views of the Tower of Terror. Some posts have stated that the rules are not enforced at the quiet pool to not be loud. We are planning 3 days at HS, one EP, one AK and one MK day. We also have dining reservations at Il Mulino and Bluezoo. Any thoughts?

It is of course further from the bus stop but what is nice about walking to DHS or Epcot from it is that you can use the stairs and do your walking outside instead of down the hotel hallways. For DHS you can go out the stairs and you're along the canal or you can go out the stairs and walk over the bridge to catch the boat at the Swan/Dolphin dock. That works for Epcot as well if you don't feel like walking but you do make stops at both BC and then the BW boat stop before getting to Epcot. With the length of the BWV room wings you usually end up with something that is further away but I didn't find it to be bad.

Quiet pool is a bit of a misnomer - all it really means is that there's no features such as a slide and not that there are actual rules for it to be quiet however without the slide it typically means fewer children and a little less screaming. :) But kids could still show up and be loud there. It has tended to be the pool we visit and in our experience it's generally much more quiet than the main pool.

I have done far too little dining at the Swan/Dolphin but have heard really excellent things about both those restaurants and do want to try them sometime. They will be quite convenient from the 5004 room location but even the 5089 doesn't add that much distance. An easy walk from either both there and back without having to worry about any transportation. I really don't think you'd go wrong with either location request.

Thank you so much for all the information! We stayed at BWV in a standard one bedroom in 2001, and it was on the first fl. facing the circular driveway and we loved that location but standard view room was not available. But this trip is to celebrate my son's college graduation and it would be a nice surprise if we get a view of his favorite attraction! I will request #5004 first then list the quiet pool room and hoping for the best! Either way, we will have a great time! Take care and thanks again!
