We had a BWI deluxe concierge room booked for this August, but we switched to a garden suite last week. I know I am going to miss that boardwalk view:sad1: but we really wanted the second half bath. Plus, it was much less when a code applied!

I would really love to hear what you thought of the garden suites. We have requested a balcony one--although I know there are only a couple and the view will not be that great.

Changing things always makes me soooo nervous! Please tell me about your stay:thumbsup2

We stayed in a garden suite on our honeymoon and we loved it. It was so nice having the quiet pool straight across from our gate!

The pools sound great! I wonder if anyone with families stayed in a garden suite? We have DD 11 and DS 21--so not young. We were unable to book a villa or 2 bedroom suite at the BWI for our dates.

The CM insisted that we could get a roll away bed. I hope that is true.

It seems like the perfect honeymoon suite---but that was 24 years ago!;)

Personally I think they are romantic but not something I would want to stay in with a family. I would prefer the Deluxe room with 2 queen beds and a day bed. Adding the rollaway to the downstairs area is going to make it very crowded.

Also the fact that the suites do not have a good view other than the rose garden, the building there and quiet pool would make a difference to me and possibly no balcony.

But the thing we disliked the most is you have to go outside to get to them and in the rain and heat we were miserable and wished we had stayed inside on the concierge floor with the lounge right there.

Boo-hoo! I know that the deluxe concierge room is large with 2 queen beds and a pullout queen sofa. Our DS has been home from college and wow we now remember our DD and DS together take up bathroom time. Even though they share the "kids"bathroom at home and we have 2 more!

DH keeps saying the suite is bigger......and 600 dollars less!

We love the garden suites but would not want to stay in one with the kids. I'm surprised you were able to get one cheaper than a deluxe room.

There are only 3 GS's with balconies, we loved 1205.

Yes we were quite surprised to have the price go down--a lot. We had a code which did not apply to the deluxe concierge room but it did to the garden suite. Our kids are pretty old--21 and 11, so I think we will be okay.

We have requested a balcony--but we know there are only 2 available. Did you stay in a balcony one?

I did, we were in 1205. There are 3, 1204, 1205 and 1206. We liked it better than the ones with a patio even though there isn't much of a view.

There is only one bed, it's a king upstairs. Downstairs has a queen sleep sofa, not sure how comfortable it is. The bathroom upstairs is open to the room except for the shower which is huge and toilet which is in a separate room. The downstairs is a 1/2 bath and there is a wet bar and fridge too. I have some pictures on shutterfly if you are interested.

I'd love to see your pictures!:goodvibes

I hope we do get the balcony one so at least I can sit out in the morning with my usually very early coffee.
