We are considering going to bluezoo next week since we will be staying at the Dolphin.

Anyone have any feedback on this restaurant?

NOTE: Todd English's Blue Zoo has an excellent
reputation. The food quality at WDW is in line with
his other eateries. However, I think the price is slightly
high for the food received, yielding a "C" instead of
a "B" for value. Additionally, for $35 fish and $42 beef,
I expect superb service, and the service was not up to
that standard.

We dine here every vacation. Except for V&A it's our favorite adult only meal while at WDW.

everyone has their own opinion. But this was one of the restaurants I was looking forward to last year and I was really disappointed. Wont be going back again. Did not have a problem with service, although we did have to re-pour our own wine. Its just the food selection was kind of blah when we went. And we have dined at very high end restaurants all over and this place actually felt pretentious which I found very strange. I say try it once, hopefully you will have a better experience.

Like Pakey, we dine at the Blue Zoo every trip. It's among our top 3 favorite spots in WDW.

It is a fantastic restaraunt and a must-do when I stay at the S&D.

I have gone to Todd English's bluezoo™ a lot since my first time there a couple years ago. Often I'd go to the bar to eat, drink and dessert.

The prices are high for a lot of items, but they are on par with the Disney-owned signature restaurants for similar items. I haven't had a bad experience there.

:thumbsup2 We ate there for the first time two weeks ago. We also had Calidfornia Grill, Brown Derby, and Fulton's on our list. Bluezoo was a great experience. We ate around 6p.m. and not very crowded at all. There was a convention going on and we got great recommendations by the waiter. DH had the monk fish with a crabmeat sauce and I had the grouper with the same sauce. I thought mine had more flavor but he went with the monk fish for its lobster like consistency and was very pleased. I had the flatbread and he had the scallops for appetizers. They were very good. His scallops were better than the ones we ordered from Sanaa for room service one night. He had a very delicious lemon merangue (sp?) dessert and I had a sampling of three sorbets (Mai Tai, Margarita and Mojito). His dessert beat mine by a landslide but mine was still very good.

The waiter's assistant was best that we had for filling our drinks and taking care of the table. Over all we give it a A with Cali Grill getting an A+ as always, based on food taste. I have to say it was a more relaxing dinner than Cali Grill due to a table of horrible guests, brats and loud parents who did not contol them. It was so bad that we got comped our desserts and the manager apologized twice. We did not complain to the waiter I only asked once how much longer he thought they would be there--he said they had just gotten their check and that was it. Before I asked, DH noticed the manager circling just outside the Wine Room watching. We thought it was very fair and nice of them as we did not expect it or ask for any compensation. We always have divine food at Cali Grill.

I think you will be pleased with Bluezoo, especially if you are staying at the Dolphin.
