I like this idea. Look at all the stuff they have for sale in the connected gift shops. Give some background on it for those unfamiliar. I'm not sure of what became of Christopher Robins room where the meet and greet was, but they certainly could put in something there, thereby making the exit door lead into the dump shop of items it was talking about.

They have some great restaurants too. I had the best meal of our trip in Feb at Spice Road Table.
That's correct, it does host YC convention events, but that's a tiny part of the overall usage, so no, that's not why it's there. It's the center piece of park event operations. I can't put a number on how many large events are held there every year, but it's many more than most people would think. The large park event operations department is based inside one of the attached buildings. Epcot catering which supplies food for catered events at DHS, Epcot and AK, including most of the festival food is housed there as well. I think because it's usually hidden by the large brown gates, it's the out of sight, out of mind thing.
So you're not saying to get rid of it. That would make me and many other people very sad.
And..........
Truthfully, I have no idea ... first and only time I've seen it was as a high school student in 2003 to get out of the heat.
Where are they getting all of these shovels from is what I want to know.
