Question:
The flying dutchman cookie boat served at Blue Bayou, how many people can that feed? And does anyone have a picture of it?
Also the doubloons, what is that desert? And does anyone have a picture?
We are going for my sons 10th bday and wanted to see what our options are. Thank you so much.

People have said that it can split four ways and be enough! I think to be a filling dessert, it can feed at least 3 (if not, then 2) people. There are lots of pictures of it on Google images.

There is a picture of the cookie boat on the Food stickey thread, the picture is on page 80 of the thread

The doubloons are just chocolate coins. There were other desserts besides those 2 last time we were there. They had a trio of creme brulee and key lime pie, maybe more. Do they still have those? I loved the creme brulee.

I think these are on the food thread too, but it was easier to find on my photobucket

OK..that Creme Brulee looks TOO good...(the Key Lime wasn't that good IMO)

Is the treasure chest edible? Or is that a decoration?

They say the chest, sail, and coin are edible, but I wouldn't try. It is very, very, very hard sugar. You'd probably break your teeth. It does have little cookies in it, though, that are very edible.

Ouch:wizard:
It's awfully cute tho. Do you get the treasure chest with only the creme brule? We've never eaten dessert there because we've always been too full. Wait, I take that back, we did get a free dessert for dd's birthday one year but I don't remember what it was. Probably just a cookie.

It cracks me up that the menu database on this site lists the chocolate coins that get delivered with your check as the only "dessert"! :lmao: How the heck did that happen??

Makes me want to send links from allears.net to their "if there's a problem with the menu let us know" email address. :)
