BLT - Studio Standard - Can we get a lower floor

Bay Lake Tower - Our 2nd choice DVC studio to rent
If we do BLT - can we get a lower floor requested?
Not the first floor - but floors 2 through 5 ?

I do not care what the view is, except not a view of the garbage cans.

Our 1st choice DVC is Boardwalk Villa's, but the long hallways may be a deal breaker.

Standard view are all on floors 1-5 at BLT.

They also place people on floor 5 when they have a lake view booked. We stayed there a few years ago and were given 2 studios on floor 5 right near the sky bridge. Not sure how many are standard vs lake view/theme park view

Also, the views of Standard might very well be the equivalent of garbage cans. But if you are renting, you are more likely to get Lake View anyway.

4 times staying in a BLT standard. Requested higher floor. Got ground floor 3 times and second floor once.

Well, there's not a lot of Standards on anything that qualifies as a high floor. I don't think there is a Standard any higher than 5th.

Correct. I was hoping for 4th or 5th floor. Got tire of being on the ground floor, though they do have some advantages.

I saw someone who rented recently complaining their Standard room had a poor view and was on 2nd floor. Bless her heart.

That's funny. Standard views are standard for a reason...lower points. I try to find positives about every room we get. Ground floor is good because it's easy to get to the drink refill machine at the pool when the pool is open. But sitting on the patio in your pjs just doesn't work when everyone walks by....lol
