BLT Newbies question

We are newbies to DVC & this will be our very first trip home. We are staying at BLT in a LV. Right now the only request on our ressie is higher floor. I am really hoping to get a partial MK view. We were on the waitlist for MK but nothing came through. Should we add more request to our reservation like a partial MK veiw or even number rooms. Or just wait until we get there and show the map work2play made. If we need to add a request how do we email that to them. TYIA
