The Target website is horrific today! I am trying to pull up a baby registry and it won't let me. It's stuck with a blank screen 'error' of some sort.

I read lately about how target's website is crappy. I guess it's true! They better get their act together! I hate it when websites don't work. There is no excuse for a big company like Target to have problems with crashing like this!

For the past 2 or 3 weeks it has been incredibly slow! I was trying to print coupons a couple of weeks ago and it too forever! I think all the flash and frills are making it too slow to function!

Anyone know what Victorias Secret will be doing? Last year they did free slippers with PJs, free scarf with sweater & a free tote bag. I cleaned up & I'm hoping I can again this year!

I'm not sure if they are doing that this year or not. However, all of those things have already happened the past couple weeks. I think the free slippers is still going on now.

I'm thinking about buying my daughter an iPod Nano for Christmas. She's currently looking for a used one to use in her car (I guess it bluetooths or something). I thought that I would get her a new one if I could find a good deal. I've googled and googled and haven't found any BF sales. Can anybody point me in the direction of a great deal??? TIA!!

Best Buy has the 6th Generation 8gb Nano for $124.99 with a $15 GC deal on Black Friday. I am leaning towards this or the 8gb Touch for $194.99 with $50GC. Oh, and there is free shipping online too!

and keep in mind they have a "new" Easy bake - since the "old" one heated food with the lightbulbs - that we're no longer allowed to have! (My sil called my mom crazy when she went out and bought hundreds of those old lightbulbs!)

It has been horrible the last few weeks. I have been trying to look at the ads and it takes FOREVER! I gave up and tried on my iPod and had faster results That is pathetic and Taget needs to get it together!

Thanks! I think I found a pretty good deal a few minutes ago. TRU has one for $129.99 with a $30 gift card. There's also a coupon for a $10 gift card with a purchase of $75 so that would give me $40 worth of gift cards (not sure whether the $10 is good with this though - I didn't read the small print ).

They wouldn't do the $10 gc (for spending 75) yesterday for me..also in the store there was a sign you get a free mijam drummer thing with any ipod purchase and a bonus $10 gc..they gave me the drumming thing ($20 pricetag) but would not add the other $10 gc with the $30 one.

Thanks! We wound up picking up the one at TRU this afternoon. I was actually a little surprised that they still had any in stock. You have to wait 6 hours to use the gift card so I'll pick up the iTunes card tomorrow with the $30 gift card.

Yeah, when I read the fine print, it said that it didn't apply to Apple products. I did ask (never hurts to ask! ), and they told me no. They didn't have the sign in our store about the drummer thingy. There was a sign there that they had torn off, that might have been it.



Also, we left there and went to Best Buy to get the Kindle w/keyboard 3G with Special Offers. Normally $139.99, it was $89.99. I was surprised they had any of those left either. My daughter had a $50 gift card from something she had returned way back in the summer so it was only $39.99 difference.

I'm glad you can get the BF deals online. While we were very pleased with the price for the Kindle 3G yesterday, based on our experinece I can't imagine actually being in the store on BF!

Their computer showed that they had 13 of the Kindle 3G w/special offers in stock....but they couldn't find them. They would look awhile, help somebody else, look awhile, help somebody else, etc., etc. They finally found one, BUT it wasn't the one with special offers (meaning it wasn't $89.99 although they did offer to just sell me that one - umm, no ). We were probably there over a hour. I finally told the saleswoman that we had been there a long time and waited very patiently and that it wasn't our fault they couldn't find them. I told her that I knew this was an in-store sale, but that I would appreciate her talking to a manager to see whether they could just order one and have it shipped to us (orders taken in the store have free shipping). She stayed gone for a little while, came back, and said she could do that (after she found somebody to show her how to do it ).

All in all, it was worthwhile, but I can't imagine what the service would be like on a crowded day.

All I have left to do now is :

$20 cash + candy bar for each of my younger brothers (2)
Rewrap a gift from birthday paper to Christmas paper for DS
Hangover 2 DVD for DS's birthday
Camera (if I can get it at WM BF)
2 Small bundles of wood for DS's Fire Pit

I now will reach my goal of having everything done by the end of the month, and am ECSTATIC!!
